Would you be interested in expanding that background by working as a Personal Assistant, supporting a dynamic and growing interior design professional in a highly trusted, impactful role? Rachel Brill Design is seeking a highly organized, proactive Personal Assistant to provide seamless support across both personal and professional responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and excels at creating structure and consistency within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This role will be responsible for managing schedules and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure both household and business activities run efficiently. The Personal Assistant will also work closely with family members and business staff to coordinate priorities and maintain alignment across all areas. No worries about ever being bored! This is a full-time, hybrid position and is primarily on-site at the family home in Cold Spring Harbor NY with occasional visits to the family office in Amityville NY. Job responsibilities: Administrative Support • Manage daily and long-term calendars, appointments, and reminders., • Coordinate meetings, scheduling, and communication with clients, vendors, and service providers., • Track tasks, deadlines, and commitments to ensure timely completion., • Maintain confidential records, contact lists, and organizational systems., • Oversee correspondence and assist with email management., • Maintain and update the family calendar, including school events, appointments, travel, and activities., • Coordinate family trips, travel, major events, date nights, one on ones with children, family time, child activity and education support, home repairs, and property management., • Manage light meal prep, errands, returns, deliveries, sorting mail, and paying bills., • Provide structured reminders, daily task lists, and follow-up to help ensure priorities stay on track., • HS diploma or equivalent., • 2 years of experience in an administrative, personal assistant, or executive support role., • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and confidentiality., • Experience managing complex calendars, scheduling, and coordinating logistics across multiple priorities., • Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail., • Effective written and verbal communication skills., • Proficiency in Apple and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive) and task management tools., • Professional, trustworthy, and adaptable; able to maintain discretion in all matters., • Full-time position (M-F 9-5); occasional flexibility may be required for family or business needs., • Hybrid schedule: primarily home-based in Cold Spring Harbor with occasional on-site work in Amityville., • Competitive compensation with benefits package including 401k., • Salary Range: $75,000–$85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
