Note: Must have strong accounting experience with construction exposure, including job costing and WIP reporting. CPA or CPA-eligible is preferred. Job Description • Support the Controller and CFO with core finance and accounting operations, • Help drive the monthly close process, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting schedules, • Assist with timely monthly financial statements and reporting in accordance with GAAP, • Own reconciliation of key accounts, document findings, and escalate exceptions as needed, • Help strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation of work product, • Support internal audit activity and external documentation requests, • Oversee banking activity, including preparation and release of approved payment files, • Monitor and resolve open accounting and operational issues, • Contribute to job costing, WIP reporting, and broader project financial analysis, • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, workpapers, and system visibility, • Partner closely with the accounting team and project operations on financial reporting and issue resolution, • Support special projects assigned by leadership Qualifications • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, • CPA or CPA-eligible preferred, • 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with construction industry exposure, • Experience with job costing and WIP reporting, • Strong monthly close and account reconciliation experience, • Strong Excel skills, including lookups, index/match, pivot tables, and financial modeling, • ERP experience required; Vista Viewpoint preferred, • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and process orientation, • Able to collaborate effectively with accounting leadership and operations teams Why You Will Love Working Here • High-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership, • Stable company with major projects and long-term client relationships, • Strong opportunity to grow within construction finance and accounting leadership, • Broad, meaningful responsibilities beyond basic transactional accounting, • Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, and additional support resources JPC-913 Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • Dental insurance, • Paid time off, • Vision insurance
