Job Description We're seeking a talented and driven Head Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary program across both restaurant service and large-scale catering events. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for executing high-quality, high-volume cuisine while helping re-conceptualize and elevate our food program. Key Responsibilities • Lead all kitchen operations, including prep, line execution, and service standards, • Manage and develop kitchen team (hiring, training, scheduling, performance), • Oversee execution of both daily restaurant service and high-volume catering/events, • Drive consistency, quality, and efficiency across all culinary output, • Manage food cost, pricing, and inventory using Excel or similar systems, • Build and maintain prep systems, production sheets, and ordering guides, • Collaborate on menu development, costing, and seasonal updates, • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and strong kitchen systems, • Partner with ownership/management on operational improvements and growth Qualifications • 3+ years in a leadership role (Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, or similar), • Strong background in high-volume kitchens and catering/event production, • Proficient in Excel (required) – comfortable with costing, spreadsheets, and formulas, • Experience with food costing, inventory systems, and purchasing, • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable, • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment, • Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and events, • ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain) Compensation & Benefits • $28 – $30 per hour (DOE), • Overtime opportunities, • Growth potential within an expanding hospitality group, • Opportunity for creative input and menu influence, • Exposure to both restaurant operations and large-scale events, • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment What We’re Looking For • A true kitchen leader who can own and drive the culinary program, • Someone who understands both restaurant execution and catering logistics, • Comfortable managing both people and numbers, • Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and attention to detail, • Hands-on, solutions-oriented, and highly organized, • Calm, consistent, and reliable under pressure How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction highlighting your experience with kitchen leadership, food costing, and high-volume service.
