The Events and Education Chef oversees programming in La Scuola: teaching, planning, preparing and managing all events. Plans events and creates menus together with the Education & Events team, the Executive Chef, front-of-house personnel and directly with clients when required.

Under the direction of the Executive Sous Chef, is responsible for supervising the staff and daily operations of the kitchen.

The Chef de Cuisine (CDC) supports the Executive Chef team in managing all aspects of the production of authentic Italian dishes in Eataly's restaurants. Five plus years Sous Chef experience in quantity food production banquet operation, in a luxury hotel or Dining hall.

Assists Executive Chef with all kitchen operations and preparation.

A minimum of five (5) years experience as a high end Sous Chef or restaurant Chef highly preferred. Develop menu and specialty menus in conjunction with chef in an effort to remain on the cutting edge of industry trends and standards.

Attends and participates in assigned meetings such as Chefs meetings, BEO meetings, Pre-Con meetings, ETC.
