Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage land surveying projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations., • Oversee successful boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking in accordance with project requirements., • Review and interpret legal documents, including deeds, plats, and easements., • Provide expert guidance on complex surveying issues and offer solutions to ensure accurate and reliable data collection., • Supervise and mentor surveying team members, including Survey Party Chiefs, CAD Technicians, and Survey Technicians., • Oversee the preparation of survey deliverables, including plats, maps, and drawings., • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and expectations., • Ensure the quality control of survey data, including the review of field notes, sketches, and calculations., • Stay informed about industry advancements, regulations, and emerging technologies in land surveying., • Bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field., • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in NJ and/or PA, • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Industry., • Strong understanding of land surveying principles, methodologies, and best practices., • Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment, including total stations and GPS., • Excellent leadership and communication skills., • Familiarity with relevant state and local regulations and surveying standards.
