Job Description Position Overview: The Brave Advisor Program will work in collaboration with YAB members and OCFS staff to lead planning efforts and activities to create a YAB experience that amplifies inclusivity from across the state and shifts creative decision making to the young adult constituents. The Bravehearts will serve as process experts and will facilitate youth development skills, activities, and planning discussions with YAB members on youth leadership. Bravehearts will oversee and supervise the YAB members, facilitate board management, recruitment, retention, and collective organizational development. While providing these concrete supports, the Brave Advisor Program Coordinator will utilize their personal lived experiences combined with training and system expertise to help YAB members develop autonomy and youth leadership skills, build positive relationships, instill resiliency, all while addressing statewide systemic and environmental barriers within the child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health systems. Position Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required. Valid NYS Driver’s license is preferred but not required. Must possess personal lived experience within the Child Welfare and/or Juvenile Justice system and also possess knowledge in the areas of navigating the educational, employment, and housing systems and resources of New York State. Must have basic understanding and computer literacy skills with Microsoft office such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must be able to adapt engagement utilizing video conferencing platforms when necessary. Must have strong organizational and oral communication skills as well as group facilitation skills. Must have the ability to efficiently multitask duties. Must have ability to plan and coordinate special events within the community. Must have experience and ability to navigate the public transportation system and an understanding of how to navigate community resources. Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of culture, race and issues facing adolescents of color. Demonstrate ability to effectively use a multi-cultural approach in working with special needs populations of youth. Ability to work as a team member and independently, as well as actively participate in supervision. Ability to practice and embody Braveheart values and methodology. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with fellow mentors and mentees, as well as ability to foster strong partnerships with professionals. Willingness to speak publicly and facilitate/participate in groups and trainings. Ability to maintain/organize progress notes and data on mentees. Job Description Position Purpose: As part of the Municipal Water Contract Operations (MWCO) mission of driving efficiency and growth initiatives across all our contract operations sites, mostly serving municipal clients and corporate functions, the Performance Analyst will work within the Program Management Office under the general direction of the Senior Manager, Strategy & Performance on a wide range of strategic and operational initiatives across municipal water utility operations. To support delivery of these initiatives, the Performance Analyst gathers and analyzes information, develops frameworks and strategies, communicates progress and recommendations, and collaborates with various stakeholders throughout the organization. Analysts receive mentoring from all levels of the organization and have many opportunities to learn broader business and consulting skills such as large-scale program management, change management, and business and performance transformation. Primary Duties/Responsibilities: • Support multidisciplinary initiatives driving growth and business performance impacting both operations and corporate support functions, including financial, operational, continuous improvement, process optimization, change management, and more., • Conduct efficient and effective analyses to solve complex problems and support strategic initiatives., • Establish performance measures (both financial and operational), monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify and implement performance-based improvements., • Lead the delivery of select initiatives to support professional growth and develop skills in project management, stakeholder communication, and leadership., • Synthesize information across a variety of sources to drive meaningful insights and make actionable recommendations., • Support development and structuring of internal documentation and communications appropriately adapted to the audience, from frontline staff to executive level., • Fully remote position.Qualifications Education/Experience/Background: • Bachelor’s degree required with additional post-graduate education desired with a focus on engineering, business, environmental sciences or data science preferred., • 2+ years of related professional experience., • Experience in a utility, engineering or consulting environment is highly desirable., • Proven record of leadership in work-setting and/or through extra-curricular activities., • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required. Must be comfortable manipulating complex data, evaluating complex issues such as large operational and financial datasets, pragmatic structuring, and solving ambiguous problems., • Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project., • Able to understand operational processes and drive continuous improvement., • Able to communicate complex ideas clearly in written, verbal, and presentation formats., • Intellectual curiosity and drive to succeed., • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to develop rapport and credibility with people at all organizational levels, including operations, and form strong relationships, internally with colleagues, and externally with stakeholders., • Able to work in an environment where teamwork and collaboration are critical components of success., • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and constantly evolving environment., • Must possess strong time management skills and have a demonstrated ability to work in both team and independent settings., • Ability to travel up to 10% is required. Additional Information Pay Range: $90000 to $105000 Per Year.
