First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Binghamton, New York. • Specialty: Psychiatric, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 09/29/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, rotating, • Employment Type: Travel Shift: Full-time, 40 hours/week, 8-hour rotational shifts (days, evenings, and nights) with every other weekend required • Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients, serving as a primary and/or accountable nurse., • Educate patients and their families on health promotion and disease management using available resources., • Utilize a working knowledge of pharmacology to safely administer medications in accordance with United Health Services policy., • Contribute to effective resource utilization, including productivity, time management, and the use of supplies and services., • Comply with all nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and United Health Services policies., • Actively participate in the Nursing Shared Governance Model, including supporting the Unit Council, engaging in improvement initiatives, and contributing to peer review practices., • Engage in continuous professional development, nursing education, and complete all mandatory education requirements., • Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice., • Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and nursing students., • 2+ years of experience., • Demonstrated skills in:, • Collaboration, • Verbal & Written Communication, • Judgement/Critical Thinking, • Organizational Understanding, • Planning (Organizing, Time Management), • Problem Solving, • Quality, • Reliability, • Current and valid New York State RN License., • BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross). Skills & Experience: • Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting, preferably in a psychiatric setting., • Professional certification in a related nursing specialty., • Relevant skills certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by the home unit.
