Purpose of the Job: The Application Support Engineer is responsible for providing support and ensuring that the applications used within Made4net are effective and efficient. You will provide support to Made4net customers with integrations to make sure clients are set up for whatever they need. This is a customer-focused, hands-on role. The Application Support Engineer works closely with the IT and project management teams to identify and fix software issues and optimize application performance. Applicants should consider that demanding deadlines and quick responses are an essential part of this job. Made4net provides a 24/7 support service and Support Engineers participate in a rotating schedule of off-hours support. We are looking for an experienced support engineer to supplement our team covering our users and partners in the US and the broader North, South and Latin America clients. SPECIAL NOTE: This role will require travel, up to 25%. Travel to client sites will include participating in client training and go-live. Supply chain execution is a time sensitive mission critical environment. Description of responsibilities: ● Work with a team of dedicated engineers supporting client operations using Made4net’s applications. ● Providing responses and follow up to client issues and questions through direct phone assistance and ticketing/email system. ● Analyze and troubleshoot system issues and follow escalation procedures according to client service level agreements. ● Periodic follow up with clients to review status and ongoing needs. ● Participate in implementations during initial go live and system upgrades ● This role will require 20-30% travel to client sites ● Participate in a rotating schedule of off hours/on call for clients with 24/7 operations. TRAVEL: this position will require ability to travel up to 25%. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level application support, specializing in Tier 2 and above issue resolution. • Familiar with Windows Workstation and Server environments, • Familiar with Web Browser(s) and Web Server (IIS) environments • Familiar with SQL server databases and programming, • Strong knowledge of office tools, • Familiar use of Remote Desktop and VPN, • Preferred:, • Hosted Customer Support Experience, • Familiarity with AWS • Experience with use and support of enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM or similar., • Strong computer and application usage skills., • Work skills: o Working well in teams., • Good communications and people skills., • Responsiveness and adaptability., • Task oriented problem solving., • Time management. Participates in a rotating on-call schedule. Work Location: In-Person and Hybrid. Must be within commutable distance to Teaneck, NJ, 07666. This position is hybrid with 3 days a week in office.
