This department specializes in orthopedic trauma, elective orthopedic surgeries, and related diagnoses. As part of a dedicated team, you'll engage in meaningful patient interactions, contribute to a culture of learning, and grow professionally through ongoing education opportunities. \n You will work 36 hours per week, primarily during weekends, with shifts encompassing days, evenings, nights, holidays, and on-call responsibilities aligned with unit needs. Nurses in this role participate actively in a collaborative, enthusiastic team environment, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. \n Candidates with experience in a level 1 trauma facility and orthopedic trauma are preferred. The ability to interpret telemetry and manage complex cases in a multidisciplinary setting is essential. \n\n Certified and Licensure Requirements: \n\n • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice\n, • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – Required\n, • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – Required\n, • Proven experience in orthopedic and telemetry nursing, demonstrating technical proficiency and clinical expertise\n, • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient cases effectively\n, • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster teamwork and provide clear patient care instructions\n, • Problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking to adapt in a dynamic, high-pressure environment\n, • A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care\n, • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher\n, • Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma setting or specialized orthopedic units\n, • Weekly taxable pay: $2,071.69\n, • Weekly stipend: $1,432.37\n Excite Health Partners Job ID #187527.
