How you'll contribute An Activity Therapist who excels in this role: • Develops a plan of care with specific and measurable goals, objectives, and interventions defining actions unique to each patient's needs., • Contributes to treatment planning with feedback to nursing and program staff to achieve therapeutic interventions., • Provides direction to nursing staff regarding activity related groups., • Attends to all treatment teams with input into patient's Activity Therapy goals. What we're looking for Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in Recreational, Music or Art Therapy or similar field. We provide treatment for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neuro or complex ortho diagnoses in the most functional setting there is - a person's own home and community. We are looking for Occupational Therapists who want to provide truly patient-centered care in McKinney, TX, and surrounding areas - with PRN positions available. Our interdisciplinary teams create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients' homes and communities. Our therapists are creative in their approach and incorporate a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals. This evidence-based approach results in durable outcomes.
