Job Description Responsibilities • Administer day‑to‑day HR operations, including accurate recordkeeping, processing updates, and supporting HR reporting., • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with integrity and professionalism., • Demonstrate high levels of integrity, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions., • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, procedures, and general HR guidance., • Support payroll and benefits administration with finance teams, external payroll providers, and contracted HR services., • Support full‑cycle recruitment: job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring activities., • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure a smooth and compliant experience., • Support internships, apprenticeships, work‑study programs, and workforce development partnerships., • Build and maintain relationships within the local community to support recruitment pipelines and strategic partnerships., • Support employees through contracted HR/payroll services, including onboarding, payroll, compliance, benefits, and daily support., • Act as a liaison between employees, contracted service providers, and internal stakeholders., • Address employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism, escalating as needed., • Coach, counsel, train, and support employees and leaders to improve performance and resolve workplace concerns., • Work effectively with employees of varying skill levels, adapting communication and approach to individual needs., • Support performance review processes, employee development initiatives, and feedback practices., • Support and coordinate company training initiatives aligned with organizational goals, operational needs, and compliance., • Partner with leaders to execute training, track participation/effectiveness, and adjust as needed., • Support continuous improvement of training processes to maintain relevance and effectiveness., • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and alignment with company policies., • Participate in developing, implementing, and improving HR policies, programs, and documentation., • Support risk mitigation through consistent HR practices, training, and documentation., • Embrace and support culture and positive, engaged work environment., • Act as a change leader by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing/refining solutions., • Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives related to training, performance, and employee support., • Provide HR input for manufacturing and operational initiatives to achieve company objectives., • Participate in cross‑functional projects, including Lean efforts, continuous improvement, quality activities, and workforce analyses., • Commit to continuous learning and personal development while supporting others’ growth., • Perform related duties and support special projects as needed.Minimum Requirements, • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience., • Knowledge of state and local employment laws and HR compliance; experience with California employees preferred., • Experience supporting core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and HR operations., • Experience coordinating or supporting training initiatives, including participation tracking and program adjustments., • Ability to work effectively with employees of varying skill levels and adapt communication styles accordingly., • Experience partnering with payroll/benefits providers, finance teams, or contracted HR services., • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; ability to handle sensitive matters professionally., • Demonstrated ability to support continuous improvement and thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment., • Comfort working in manufacturing or operational settings with both hourly and salaried employees., • Proficiency with HR systems, Microsoft Office, and standard business technology., • High level of integrity, sound judgment, and strong commitment to confidentiality.
