We are currently expanding in Europe and Asia Pacific, including Japan and Australia Job Description We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), North America to lead our financial planning and analysis efforts for our North American operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, North America you will be a key leader in driving financial performance, providing critical insights to executive leadership, and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. This is a highly visible role that requires a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing FP&A teams in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities: • Strategic Financial Leadership:, • Lead the comprehensive financial planning processes for North America, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range strategic planning., • Develop and implement robust financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business growth., • Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., Business Development, Operations, Product, Engineering) to develop financial targets and ensure alignment with overall company goals., • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to drive performance improvements and identify cost-reductive opportunities., • Business Partnering & Analysis:, • Act as a trusted financial advisor to various business units and department heads across North America, providing financial expertise and decision support., • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods., • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance and identify trends., • Conduct deep-dive financial analyses on specific business drivers, market trends, and competitive landscapes., • Team Leadership & Development:, • Lead, mentor, and develop FP&A team members and collaborate with other teams within the finance organization., • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews for team members., • Optimize FP&A processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy., • Process Improvement & Systems:, • Drive improvements in financial reporting, planning, and analysis processes., • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting., • Leverage financial and reporting systems (e.g. SAP, NetSuite, PowerBI, Tableau)Qualifications, • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CFA preferred., • 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance leadership roles, with at least 3-5 years in a management capacity, preferably in a rapidly scaling environment., • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including executive leadership., • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities., • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
