Job DescriptionCompany Background: JWCH Institute is a Federally Qualified Health Center. It is the largest non-government provider of homeless health and supportive services in Los Angeles County. Department of Health Services (DHS), in the Housing for Health program, funds MLK Recuperative Care Center (RCC). MLK RCC is a 96-bed program and it temporarily offers a 33-bed COVID unit (inclusive of the 96 beds). MLK RCC provides intensive case management, behavioral healthcare and satellite medical clinic services, on-site. Additionally, MLK RCC provides supportive services to the chronically homeless, those with behavioral health diagnosis and those with chronic medical conditions. Position Purpose: The MLK Recuperative Care Center (RCC) Housing Nurse Manager will participate as part of the management team at MLK RCC. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for clinical oversight of the recuperative care clinic and nursing functions. He or she will oversee Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses. For many people, gaining access to dental care isn’t simply a matter of finding the nearest dentist. Some may face language and cultural issues that keep them from connecting with dental providers. Others may lack insurance coverage, transportation or childcare that would make it easier for them to visit the dentist. JWCH works to assist patients with navigating barriers and helping them achieve better oral health and improved overall health outcomes. Position Purpose: This position is responsible for assisting dentists in the direct provision of primary dental care services to patients at the clinic. Additionally, the Dental Assistant is responsible for sterilizing, preparing, and maintaining inventory control of dental instruments and supplies, as well as ensuring proper infection control in all patient care areas. Job DescriptionDepartment: Mobile Dental Unit (Various Sites) Notice: Candidates must be available to work two Saturdays per month and be willing to travel to various JWCH locations as needed. JWCH Institute, Inc. is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a mission to provide comprehensive health care to low-income and homeless individuals in the County of Los Angeles. For many people, gaining access to dental care isn’t simply a matter of finding the nearest dentist. Some may face language and cultural issues that keep them from connecting with dental providers. Others may lack insurance coverage, transportation or childcare that would make it easier for them to visit the dentist. JWCH works to assist patients with navigating barriers and helping them achieve better oral health and improved overall health outcomes. Position Purpose: The position is responsible for performing oral screenings, providing community outreach support, and/or assisting chairside in dental procedures at various company and non-company sites. Travel between sites and flexibility in site assignments are required, as well as availability for two Saturdays per month for clinical/mobile dental sites. Job Description SUMMARY The Los Angeles Christian Health Centers (LACHC) is seeking a BBS registered associate clinical social worker (ACSW) or a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) to reduce the distress and improve the mental health of the homeless and underserved populations presenting with complex medical and psycho-social problems on Los Angeles, CA skid row. The ideal candidate will increase patient accessibility to care by working on-site at least one day per week during the clinic’s extended hours. Since 1995, LACHC has been a source of hope and healing to thousands of homeless and low-income residents of Los Angeles County seeking care and compassion. Department Summary The Case Management Department at Brilliant Corners includes both Permanent Supportive Housing and Rapid Rehousing programs and is supported by Housing for Health (HFH) at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS). The Permanent Supportive Housing program was designed to serve individuals experiencing homelessness who have a chronic illness or physical disability, and/or are high utilizers of DHS services. Department Summary The Flexible Housing Subsidy Pool (FHSP) is a supportive housing rental subsidy program of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (DHS), along with other governmental partners, managed-care organizations, and foundations. Position Summary Housing Coordinators provide direct services to formerly homeless individuals throughout Los Angeles County—this includes support with all aspects of the housing process. Brilliant Corners has program participants living in scattered-site settings, project-based settings, and residential facility settings that can have either FHSP locally funded subsidies or a federal voucher to subsidize their rent. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education (Indicate minimum education or degree required.) • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) strongly preferred., • Significant experience in healthcare finance (hospital or health system) preferred., • Must have thorough knowledge of accounting, finance, reimbursement, budgeting, and collection practices as relates to hospital systems or healthcare organizations., • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing., • 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience with minimum five (5) years of prior financial management experience as Controller, Finance Director or comparable position., • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP., • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes., • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll, and budgeting functions., • Partner with the hospital’s revenue cycle team for optimal revenue cycle performance, including proper valuation of patient accounts receivable at each reporting period., • Working knowledge of managed care and capitation arrangements with IPAs, medical groups, and health plans and ensure accurate accounting and reporting of risk pool performance., • Review, evaluate and ensure the effectiveness of all financial and accounting systems in the facility., • Analyze daily operating results to ensure that revenues, expenses, and labor are within budgeted objectives; advise department heads and Administration of needed changes and improvements in a timely manner., • Establish and maintain sound financial controls and record keeping; approve financial expenditures up to the level established by the CFO., • Coordinate annual external audits and serve as primary liaison with auditors., • Prepare financial forecasts and monitor performance versus budget., • Strong working knowledge of hospital reimbursement environment, including supplemental funding programs (e.g., HQAF, DSH, etc.), • Oversee cash management, including cash flows projections, and banking relationships., • Keep abreast of government regulatory requirements and the rapidly changing reimbursement environment to develop and implement changes to policies and procedures as needed., • Establish and monitor the annual operating budget according to sound budgeting principles., • Ensure compliance with healthcare financial reporting regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting requirements., • Lead and develop the corporate accounting team and ensure staff training, performance management, and professional development., • Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement., • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate reporting, and improve financial data integrity., • Advanced financial analysis and reporting skills., • Assault Response Competency (ARC) required (within 30 days of hire), • Current Los Angeles County Fire Card required (within 30 days of employment) Full-Time, Exempt

Job Description Location: This Dentist position will travel to various Wesley Health Center dental and medical clinics, as well as outreach locations throughout Los Angeles County, including traveling with the Mobile Dental Unit as needed. Position Purpose: The Dentist is responsible for providing quality preventive and primary dental care consistent with the Dentist’s training and experience in a community health clinic setting to patients of the clinics. This position is responsible for providing Oral Screenings at JWCH medical sites, and also responsible for providing coverage at various JWCH dental clinic sites, filling in for dental providers. The position performs community outreach at various JWCH and non-JWCH sites. Principal Responsibilities: • Provides Oral Screenings, preventive services, and education to individuals and populations of all ages at various JWCH medical clinics, JWCH, and non-JWCH community outreach sites. Assignment locations will vary depending on JWCH-Oral Health Department needs., • Provides coverage at various JWCH Dental Clinic sites and the mobile dental unit, filling in for dental providers; and examines individuals requesting care, diagnoses their dental condition, prescribes, carries out, or directs others in carrying out, appropriate dental treatment, or refers individuals for specialty consultation or treatment in conformance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines. Assignment locations will vary depending on JWCH-Oral Health Department needs., • Prepare and deliver oral health presentations, along with potential care options, explaining benefits of good oral health to patients and their families at various sites., • Perform all other related duties as assigned by the Chief Dental Officer., • Helps to train dental clinic staff in the Oral Health Screening Procedures and Protocols., • Assist patients in resolving minor difficulties, answering their questions and giving directions to patients., • Coordinates oral health screenings at the medical and dental clinics and communicates with the medical care team to make sure screenings are accomplished and daily goals are met. 10. Job Description The Organization North Los Angeles County Regional Center “NLACRC” is a private, non-profit agency that is contracted with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, to provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. NLACRC is one of the largest regional centers in California and has proudly served the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Antelope Valley since 1974. Supervision Receives general supervision from the Community Services Supervisor in Resource Development Unit. The Position and Job Summary Locates, develops, monitors, and evaluates services in conjunction with the Agency Resource Development Plan. • Field phone inquiries from individuals/agencies seeking to be vendored. Generates, coordinates and screens, Request for Proposals for targeted Resource Development. Works with vendors on creating the development of resources that meets the needs of our consumers. Consults with Consumer Services staff, assists in resolution of complex service planning issues and resource identification for consumers., • Investigates, documents, reviews, analyzes and tracks vendor applications and ensures compliance with vendorization requirements and timelines as outlined in Title 17. Receive and screen written requests, licenses, and certifications; verify qualifications of vendor applicants. Meet with prospective vendor applicants to discuss their qualifications and proposed program. Provide technical assistance regarding steps toward program development and vendorization. Enter new vendor information into electronic database systems., • Write new program resource announcements and distribute to NLACRC staff. Write letters to vendors regarding vendor status and service delivery issues., • Provide quality assurance support to service providers in this program, including program monitoring, problem identification and exploration, complaint investigation, and group and individual training. Conducts and provides technical assistance to providers for program issues and reviews program policy and procedures for risk mitigation. Assists QA staff and case management in performing investigations. Write detailed reports of evaluation findings, advises service providers on implementing corrective actions, follow-up on implementation., • Conducts rate review and analysis on vendor cost statements. Assist team in review of audit materials. Provide input regarding new program development and new program costs, rate changes for the Sufficiency of Allocation Report (SOAR)., • Provide input and recommendations to service development agreements and other contracts as needed. Facilitate approval processes between all parties for service development agreements., • Attend interagency meetings and represent NLACRC. Facilitate trainings, workshops, and fairs in partnership with outside agencies, school districts, and vendors.
