Job DescriptionSalary: $55k - $70k As a Fact & FictionAccount Manager, you are the engine behind the day-to-day success of the agency. You own the project process from kickoff to delivery, ensuring client and internal alignment, driving follow-ups, and holding the team to deadlines while building strong, trusted relationships with clients and agency partners. You thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and lead with both initiative and empathy. You love collaboration and know how to balance whats best for the client with whats best for the work. Ultimately, youre the glue that keeps business, relationships and outcomes connected, and you take incredible pride in the collective impact we make for our clients. We are open to candidates within commuting distance to Kansas City or Boulder, excited about collaborating in person two days per week in a hybrid working environment. We are not open to 100% remote candidates. Can do this • Own the day-to-day operations and communications for your accounts, keeping everything buttoned-up, proactive, and moving forward, • Run client meetings including weekly status and creative reviews. Set agendas, steer discussions, and deliver same-day recaps with clear action steps, owners, and timing, • Be intimately involved in all aspects of projects alongside Project Management, staying a step ahead of the client and ensuring delivery of work that is on-brief, on-schedule, and on-budget, • Prepare and present polished materials for client meetings, including status updates, creative presentations, and performance recaps, • Identify and understand your clients business needs, industry, and competition and care about them as if they were your own, • Champion and facilitate cross-functional collaboration across creative, strategy, media, and production teams, • Initiate projects and ensure that briefs, scope documents, and direction to the agency team are sufficiently detailed and clear. Monitor for scope creep by tracking rounds and proactively managing the situation with clients and your manager, • Own billing documentation, monthly financial projections, and budget reconciliation for your accounts, • Identify organic growth opportunities and proactive recommendations within existing client relationships, developing proposals with senior leadership, • Drive brand and business strategy discussions, bringing a prepared, outcome-based point of view informed by research and client knowledge, • Navigate ambiguity with composure and authority when things are unclear, drive toward clarity, make decisions where appropriate, and bring solutions rather than just questions, • Anticipate next steps across your accounts and keep the team a step ahead checking calendars, prepping stakeholders, and ensuring full context before every touchpoint, • Enforce version control, organized drive management, and rigorous quality checks on all deliverables before they reach clients Must haves • Bachelor's degree in Business, Advertising, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience, • 3+ years of experience in an advertising agency, digital marketing firm, or in-house marketing team, • Comfort with a hybrid work model (in-office two days per week in Boulder or Kansas City), • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%), • A bias toward action over perfection you know when done beats perfect and can make that call confidently, • Comfort adapting your approach based on how different teammates and clients work best What sets you apart • Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen attention to detail. You see around corners and bring answers, not just questions, • Collaborative by nature, but able to work independently and meet deadlines without handholding.
