Job Purpose: LegalEASE is seeking an experienced Finance Accounting Manager to oversee daytoday accounting operations and serve as a key partner to the Controller. In this highly visible role, you will lead a small accounting team, ensure accurate financial reporting, support close processes, and help drive process improvements and internal controls across the department. This position offers meaningful responsibility and a clear path for professional growth. What you will do: • Oversee routine accounting activities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations., • Manage timely and accurate monthend, quarterend, and yearend close processes., • Prepare and review journal entries, financial schedules, and account reconciliations., • Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis., • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of approximately four accounting staff., • Foster a collaborative, accountable, highperforming team culture., • Drive best practices, internal control improvements, and process efficiency., • Support system implementations, upgrades, and automation initiatives., • Collaborate with crossfunctional partners and communicate financial information to nonfinance stakeholders., • Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.Youll Succeed Using Your:, • Strong written communication and high attention to detail., • Ability to explain accounting concepts to non-finance personnel., • Proactive, reliable, and solutionsoriented mindset., • Strong interpersonal skills for working with executive leadership and team members., • Core proficiency with Excel, Word, PDFs, and structured data documents., • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.Qualifications, • Required:, • Bachelors degree in Accounting., • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience., • Experience managing or leading a team., • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy., • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines., • Preferred:, • Public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience., • Experience in a growing or multientity environment., • Familiarity with ERP or midmarket accounting systems., • CPA designation in progress or interest in pursuing CPA.Our Offering:, • Culture built on Trust, Respect, and Integrity, • Environment that supports the personal drive for excellence, • Access to robust health insurance and legal benefit plans, • Paid vacation, • Free Fitness Center on property, • 401 (k) Retirement planWork Authorization/Security Clearance:, • Candidate must have valid work authorization for the U.S., • A criminal background investigation is conducted on every Legal Access Plans employee.
