As a Material Handler, you’ll be a key player in keeping production flowing by safely moving, staging, and tracking materials throughout the facility. What You’ll Be Doing • Load, unload, transport, and stage materials throughout the plant using forklifts, cranes, hand trucks, and dollies, • Support production teams by ensuring materials are organized, labeled, and ready for use, • Track inventory using MRP and WMS systems, updating records accurately, • Read work orders and follow verbal instructions to move materials to the correct locations, • Prepare and process Bills of Lading and shipping and receiving documentation, • Tag, band, stack, and organize materials to maintain clean and efficient storage areas, • Perform inventory counts, weigh materials, and record quantities on production sheets, • Use precision measuring tools such as tape measures and dial calipers to verify inbound and outbound materials, • Assist machine operators by keeping work areas supplied and organized, • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment and report safety concerns, • Stage and prep materials at the end of each shift to set up the next day’s productionWhat We’re Looking ForMust‑Haves, • 2–3 years of material handling experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, • Forklift experience and comfort operating material handling equipment, • Experience using MRP, WMS, or inventory tracking systems, • Ability to read work orders and follow instructions accurately, • Strong attention to detail with labeling, counts, and documentation, • Basic math and measurement skills, • Comfort in a physically active role involving lifting and moving materials, • Strong safety awareness and reliable attendanceNice‑to‑Haves, • Forklift or crane certifications (or willingness to obtain), • Shipping and receiving experience, including Bills of Lading, • ERP or RF scanner experience, • Expertise in supporting multiple departments in a manufacturing settingWhy You’ll Want to Work Here, • Growing, stable manufacturer with long‑term career opportunities, • First‑shift schedule for consistent work‑life balance, • Full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company match, • Company‑paid portion of health insurance, • Annual safety boot allowance, • Employer‑provided PPE, including safety eyewear, • Opportunity to develop skills and grow as the business expands Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
