We are seeking a Level 4 Senior Staff RF Antenna Engineer with deep expertise in antenna systems, element/mutual coupling, and free-space radiation performance—and the proven ability to rapidly evaluate, troubleshoot, and optimize existing antenna designs. This is a high-impact, fast-response role supporting programs where performance shortfalls must be diagnosed and corrected on aggressive timelines. You will bridge simulation, measurement, and practical implementation to deliver solutions that work—quickly and reliably. Key Responsibilities: * Rapidly assess existing antenna and array designs for performance gaps against requirements. * Diagnose and resolve issues related to mutual coupling, beam distortion, impedance mismatch, and bandwidth limitations. * Recommend and implement design modifications for immediate performance improvements. * Perform accelerated free-space radiation pattern measurements and compare results against simulations. * Run high-fidelity EM simulations (HFSS, CST, FEKO, or similar) under compressed schedules for fast validation. * Evaluate antenna integration into host platforms for mechanical, thermal, and electrical compatibility. * Support urgent production and field troubleshooting, including on-site technical interventions when required. * Collaborate with RF systems engineers to ensure antenna performance aligns with system-level budgets and phase stability. * Produce clear, actionable evaluation reports for program stakeholders, often under short deadlines. * Mentor junior engineers in rapid diagnostic and problem-solving methods.
