Plant Manager (120-140K) An international manufacturing organization is seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations at their growing Central NY facility. This role will play a critical part in driving operational excellence, elevating plant standards, and leading a transformation to higher performance levels. Overview: • Opportunity to lead and develop a multi-functional team across production, supply chain, maintenance, and quality, • High impact role focused on raising operational standards and implementing best-in-class processes, • Collaborative environment with global leadership and resources Key Responsibilities: • Lead and align Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and QHSE functions to drive overall plant performance, • Establish clear direction and vision while maintaining strong tactical, hands-on leadership on the floor, • Monitor and drive performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Efficiency, and Maintenance, • Identify process deviations, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, and execute corrective actions, • Oversee budgets, production planning, and cost control to improve profitability and operational efficiency, • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational transformation efforts to elevate plant standards, • Ensure effective preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability, • Collaborate with global teams to implement enhanced operating standards and best practices Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred, • 5–10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations (Food, Dairy, Feed, or similar process industries preferred), • Direct experience with Spray Drying Technology is strongly preferred, • Strong knowledge of continuous manufacturing environments and process optimization, • Experience leading cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, supply chain) in a plant setting, • Proven ability to drive cost savings, efficiency improvements, and operational performance, • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or structured continuous improvement methodologies This is an outstanding opportunity to join an exceptional area employer offering competitive salary, benefits, and career growth!
