About This Role Women's Wellness Psychiatry has spent the last decade becoming one of California's most respected reproductive and integrative psychiatry practices. What our founder, Dr. Anna Glezer, started as a solo practice in 2016 has grown — every single year — into a thriving group of 13 clinicians serving hundreds of women across the state, with patient volume and revenue that have climbed steadily year over year. The practice maintains an extensive referral network of OBs, REIs, primary care physicians, and therapists, along with a strong online presence. Dr. Glezer — Harvard- and UCSF-trained, past president of the Northern California Psychiatric Society, distinguished fellow of the APA, and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner — is widely recognized across the state as a leading voice in reproductive psychiatry. The practice she's built reflects that: clinically rigorous, deeply mission-driven, and highly committed to a kind of holistic and thoughtful women's mental health care that is hard to find. We are now hiring for a Medical Director and Senior Reproductive & Integrative Psychiatrist — a seasoned physician, leader, and operator who will: (1) carry a select panel of our more clinically complex patients, (2) provide supervision and clinical leadership to our team of 5 psychiatrists and 6 psychologists, and (3) progressively take on the clinical, operational, and strategic decisions that have until now run through Dr. Glezer alone. Who We're Looking For The right person is someone who could plausibly start their own practice tomorrow — but who would rather plug into an established, profitable, mission-aligned platform with patient flow, infrastructure, a strong team, and a real runway to clinical and operational leadership. You are a board-certified psychiatrist with 6+ years of post-residency experience, with deep expertise in reproductive psychiatry (perinatal, PMDD, perimenopause, fertility, hormonal contributions to mood) and integrative care (nutritional psychiatry, nutraceuticals, lifestyle medicine, evidence-based holistic modalities). You've held supervisory or leadership roles before — medical director, fellowship director, group practice partner — and you're comfortable being the person other clinicians come to with hard cases. You have demonstrated expertise and interest in the business side of running a thriving practice: clinical excellence, team culture, operations, and continued growth. What You'll Do • Clinical (~60–70% of your time): Carry a panel of 150 - 180 patients, providing 75-minute intakes and 25- or 50-minute follow-ups. Take the lead on high-acuity integrative cases. Handle complex consultations and second opinions. Collaborate with our psychotherapy team and patients' broader medical teams., • Clinical leadership (~20–30%): Supervise and mentor our 5 psychiatrists and 6 psychologists. Lead weekly case conferences. Refine clinical protocols, patient intake flows, and treatment-planning frameworks as we continue to scale., • Operational and strategic (growing over time): Co-lead prospective-patient consult calls. Partner with Dr. Glezer on hiring, onboarding, and clinician development. Help shape practice strategy — services, referral relationships, quality, scope. Take on increasing ownership of clinical operations over a 12–24 month runway. Compensation & Benefits • Clinical base annual salary: $280,000–$305,000, commensurate with experience (~20+ patient-facing hours/week), • Medical Director compensation: Additional $60,000 annually for clinical leadership and operational responsibilities (~5 hours/week of dedicated time), • Annual performance bonus tied to clinic-wide business outcomes and successful execution of responsibilities Total expected first-year compensation: $380,000 – $405,000+ Other Benefits: • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Paid time off and holidays, • Malpractice insurance fully covered, • $1,500 annual CME budget, • Licensure and DEA fees covered Why You'll Want to Join Us • A practice that has done the hard part. Ten years in, profitable, growing every year, with a robust pipeline of pre-screened referrals and a statewide reputation that means patients come to us., • A genuinely collaborative team. Weekly case conferences, supervision, psychotherapy process groups, close communication across MDs and psychologists. People stay here., • 100% virtual, with optional office space in the SF Bay Area and West Los Angeles, • A real thought leadership platform. Dr. Glezer has spent a decade building the practice's voice in reproductive mental health, and the next chapter is one we want to build with you: co-authorship on clinical content, podcast appearances, conference speaking, and active support in building your own profile in the field. Senior clinicians deserve a platform, and we'll help you build one., • Tools to do great work: EMR, secure messaging, scheduling, billing, and patient portal — all built and running efficiently Requirements • MD/DO; ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency; board-certified in Psychiatry, • Active California medical license (or eligible) and current DEA, • 6+ years post-residency clinical experience, with substantial work in reproductive mental health and integrative psychiatry, • Documented clinical leadership experience — medical directorship, fellowship faculty, group practice partner, division leadership, or equivalent, • Reproductive psychiatry fellowship a plus, • Genuine interest in the business side of running a thriving outpatient practice, • Commitment of 3+ years — this is meant to be a long-term clinical and leadership home *** TO APPLY: Please email your CV and a brief letter to Dr. Glezer at . In the letter, please include: • What in your career has prepared you for the leadership dimension of this role, beyond clinical excellence, • Your most impactful 1-2 accomplishments as a past medical director / clinical leader The hiring process: an initial screen with Dr. Glezer, a case-based discussion, an interview with Dr. Glezer’s business partner, and a meeting with one or two team members.
