This is a top opportunity for RNs seeking New Mexico nursing jobs with a focus on Labor & Delivery.\n \n\nLabor & Delivery RN Job Details\n\n • Location: Albuquerque, NM 87106 (New Mexico healthcare jobs)\n, • Facility: Level I Trauma, Children's, Teaching Hospital\n, • Contract Length: 13 weeks\n, • Start Date: January 26, 2026\n, • End Date: April 27, 2026\n, • Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)\n, • Hours per Week: 36 or 48 (contract preference available)\n, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2070 - $2120 per week\n, • On-Call: Required (12 hours over 4 weeks for 4x12s; 24 hours over 4 weeks for 3x12s)\n, • Unit: Labor & Delivery (12 LDRs, 3 ORs, 5 PACU beds, 7-bed OB Triage)\n, • Patient Ratio: 1:2\n, • Scrubs: Purple scrubs provided\n, • Charting: Cerner EMR\n, • Parking: Free\n\n\nLabor & Delivery RN Qualifications\n\n, • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NM or compact; New Mexico RN license can be pending at submission)\n, • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a large Labor & Delivery unit\n, • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required (no RQI certifications accepted)\n, • Experience with circulating, fetal heart monitoring (FHM), and obstetric procedures\n, • Proficient in postpartum care, baby nurse duties, and meconium deliveries\n, • Ability to float to antepartum and postpartum units as needed\n, • COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation)\n, • Non-local candidates only (must reside more than 75 miles from facility)\n\n\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n\n, • Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-acuity clinical setting\n, • Circulate for C-sections and assist with obstetric procedures (cerclage, version, C/S, PPTL, AROM, medically assisted deliveries, C-hyst, neonatal palliative care, nitrous, massive transfusion protocol, malignant hyperthermia)\n, • Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns using external and internal monitoring\n, • Provide breastfeeding and lactation support to new mothers\n, • Perform triage of obstetrical patients and provide care in OB triage as needed\n, • Float to antepartum and postpartum units to support patient care needs\n, • Document all care accurately using Cerner EMR\n We believe in empowering your career.
