This position fills the gap between completed field work and final customer invoicing to ensure quality and accuracy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Under the direct supervision of and in coordination with a Behavior Analyst and/or Behavior Specialist and/or Clinical Director, the ABA Specialist performs the following duties:, • Provide intensive behavioral treatment services to individuals in accordance with the behavior support plan including but not limited to Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and antecedent and consequence-based strategies to ensure effective, function-based, treatment, • Collect behavioral data related to treatment strategies being implemented for individuals including but not limited to assessment/observation data, and daily behavior data for the purpose of providing clinical/behavioral services to Elwyn New Jersey residents, • Provide all appropriate documentation set forth by the clinical team and regulations including but not limited to daily progress notes and data tracking to ensure accountability to service recipients, stakeholders, funders, and regulatory entities, • Implement and ensure staff adhere to individualized behavior support plans for individuals served through provision of modeling and feedback as necessary, • Mentor, and monitor staff on delivery of care to individuals served with behavioral intervention techniques as antecedent and consequence-based strategies, • Work with members of Elwyn's operational and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care by participating in meetings and sharing information as necessary, • Work with clients on daily living skills, including but not limited to hygiene and household tasks, in a structured, therapeutic environment to ensure progress is made towards independence, • Work with the operational team to implement recreational activities including but not limited to shopping, going out to eat, and attending events for the purpose of increasing community integration, • Attend scheduled staff meetings to share and receive pertinent information, • Attend appropriate in-service as directed by supervisor and required by funder and regulatory bodies to remain in compliance with Elwyn policies and procedures and state mandates, • Report all problems or concerns to supervisor or director(s) as soon as possible to ensure safety and provide a therapeutic environment for service recipients, • Provide staff coverage and assistance as needed by fulfilling the duties of a direct-care staff when staffing ratios dictate the need, and/or as directed by supervisor or director, • Remain on duty until relieved, • Maintain current state-mandated training and certifications, • Follow all current policies and procedures of Elwyn New Jersey, • Cooperate with Elwyn New Jersey and the State of New Jersey Department of Human Services, or any other authorized investigating body during an inspection, inquiry, or investigation, • Works with, understands, and complies with terms and conditions of collective bargaining agreements (CBA) within a unionized environment, • Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), safe crisis management, and medication administration using agency-trained protocols, • High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED); undergraduate degree in human services or a related field and/or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, • Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities with the focus on behavioral services., • Experience working with individuals with acute behaviors and or challenging behaviors, • Previous knowledge /training in areas of applied behavior analysis or one (1) year applied behavioral strategies, including, but not limited to, reinforcement schedules, token economy programs, picture schedules, etc., • Previous knowledge/training with individuals who utilize augmentative communication devices, • Experience with ABA strategies desired, • Non-profit human service experience highly preferred, • Previous experience working within unionized workforce preferred, • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, • Must possess excellent customer interaction, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritize multiple, often competing, priorities, • Demonstrated strong attention to detail, • Demonstrated strong time management and organizational skills, • Demonstrated excellent judgment with the ability to independently solve problems and make decisions with little or no need for direct supervision, • Demonstrated ability to anticipate future needed changes or identify problem areas and take effective actions, • Demonstrated intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, • Must be able to perform CPR and safe care using agency-trained protocols, • Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred, • Must submit to a criminal background check and drug test and be determined to be not disqualified by the New Jersey Department of Human Services prior to working with individuals served, • Must agree to have their name checked against the New Jersey Central Registry of Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and NJ Child Abuse Registry (CARI), • Must have current, valid driver's license in state of residence, two (2) years driving experience in the United States, and acceptable driving record

Job DescriptionSalary: $16.00 GENERAL NATURE OF POSITION: The Residential Worker is responsible for carrying out the day-to-day function in the house. This includes securing the well-being and safety of the residents. Responsibilities also include keeping up with maintenance and repairs of the house, the vehicle, appliances, and equipment. The Residential Worker reports directly to Program Manager. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Track unusual and major incidents Participates in staff meetings and other meetings as appropriate Responsible for being on-call Performs other related duties as assigned Providing support and guidance to the individuals in the house to ensure the following: That the house, the appliances, the vehicles and the equipment are safe, operational and in good working order. That the fundamental rights of each adult in the house are protected Residential Workers are bound by an 8 hour shift. The following are the specific duties within a job typical X-hour shift. Hours and duties may vary depending upon specific circumstances and will be handwritten and initialed into this employment agreement. Responsible for overseeing all cleaning duties by clients. Responsible for cleaning anything that have not been completed by the clients. 3pm-11pm Supervising and assisting the individuals in the house with menus, food preparation, housekeeping, personal care, laundry, and other activities of daily living. Planning and coordinating appropriate leisure, social and daily living activities in the residence and in the community. This includes transporting the individuals to and from their destinations. These activities also include shopping trips and medical, dental, and mental health appointments. Assuming responsibility for the individuals in the house during the day when they are unable to attend the day program (e.g. for illness, inclement weather, etc.). The supervisor will make every effort to arrange coverage, however, the final responsibility rests on the residential staff. Meeting deadlines and completing all necessary paperwork. This includes quarterly reports, monthly reports, fire drill records, attendance records, weight charts, house receipts, daily logbook, etc. The Residential Worker shall be trained by Real House, Inc.s APN and will carry out the duties of Medication Technician 11pm-7am During the hours of 11pm-7am, the House Manager will be offered adequate sleeping facilities by Real House, Inc. 7am-3pm (7am-9am) Responsibilities include providing assistance to the extent necessary for each of the individuals in the home to prepare for their day. That includes assisting with all personal hygiene tasks, dressing, preparing breakfast and cleaning up afterwards. (9am-3pm) During this shift the House Manager is considered on call, however remaining on the premises is typically not necessary. Being on call requires that you leave information with your supervisor as to where you may be reached. QUALIFICATIONS: Required and Preferred Education and Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work with diverse populations. Good oral and written English skills. If an individual is in recovery, five-six years of sustained recovery is required. Ability to work well within a team environment. Computer skills: Microsoft Office and web-based application. Ability to answer telephone calls in a professional manner and assists callers The Residential Worker must be at least 25 years Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds Occasionally required to stand and walk.
