Job Description State-of-the-Art Practice | Great Patient Flow | Career Pathway Our Ballard Seattle practice is seeking a full-time, awesome, General Dentist to start this April or May! The ideal dentist candidate has at least one year of practice experience (please no pending graduates at this time) and is a skilled provider focused on providing excellent comprehensive dentistry and is a positive impact to the employee culture! Our Ballard practice is located in a neighborhood with rich cultural history and a vibrant food scene - all just a stone's throw away from the marina. Including ample parking surrounding the practice, as well as nearby Wallingford and University District Metro stops! Responsibilities:, • Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes., • Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities., • Correct bite issues and overcrowding., • Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners., • Prescribe medications such as pain medications or antibiotics., • Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes, to examine and treat teeth., • Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the tx rendered to them., • Manage positively and communicate with team to provide outstanding care to patients., • Diagnose, tx plan, and diagnose oral disease and oral manifestation of systemic diseases., • Routine follow-up with patients whom you’ve provided treatment via phone or email., • Manage both patient experiences and patient expectations to create a positive outcome.Qualifications:, • Active IL dental license (and malpractice insurance)., • Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records., • Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, thorough tx planning skills., • Strong inter-personal and leadership qualities., • Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient., • Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work., • Ability to adapt to Dentologie’s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance - eager to further enhance your skillset.
