We are seeking a high-caliber DEO Coach with executive-level experience in a Dental Support Organization (DSO) of at least $25 million+ in revenue. This role is ideal for a former COO, VP of Operations, or Executive Leader who has successfully scaled multi-location dental groups and understands the operational, financial, and leadership challenges of DSOs. Role Summary As a DEO Coach, you will work closely with high-growth dental entrepreneurs, providing strategic guidance, operational insights, and leadership coaching to help them scale their businesses. You will leverage your executive experience to help DEO members implement best practices in operations, financial performance, team development, and systems optimization. You will be a part of a team of 35 other coaches supporting over 500 dental groups representing over $3.5billion in practice revenues. This role requires a blend of coaching, consulting, and strategic advising, helping members navigate their most pressing business challenges. Key Responsibilities 1. Coaching & Strategic Advisory • Provide one-on-one and group coaching to dental entrepreneurs, guiding them on how to scale efficiently., • Facilitate mastermind groups, workshops, and training sessions to help members implement proven growth strategies., • Develop customized strategies for members based on their unique business models, market conditions, and organizational structures., • Leverage data-driven decision-making to advise members on KPIs, financial benchmarks, and operational efficiencies. 2. Operations & Growth Expertise • Advise on key operational challenges, including patient flow, practice efficiency, technology adoption, and compliance., • Help members build scalable systems for HR, recruiting, financial management, and leadership development., • Identify business constraints and apply Theory of Constraints (TOC) principles to overcome growth barriers., • Provide expertise in M&A, expansion strategies, and multi-location management. 3. Leadership & Team Development • Coach dental entrepreneurs on leadership skills to help them transition from owner-operators to effective executives., • Guide members in talent acquisition, team training, and retention strategies to build high-performing teams., • Advise on organizational structure, accountability systems, and performance management. 4. DEO Program Development & Member Engagement • Continuously refine DEOs coaching frameworks and methodologies to align with industry best practices., • Collaborate with the DEO coaching team to ensure consistency and effectiveness in coaching programs., • Engage with DEOs community by participating in online discussions, live events, and networking opportunities., • Represent DEO at industry conferences, webinars, and speaking engagements. Ideal Candidate Profile Must-Have Experience: Executive-level leadership in a DSO or multi-location dental group ($25M+ revenue) 5+ years of experience as a COO, VP of Operations, or similar senior leadership role Proven track record of scaling operations, improving profitability, and driving team performance Deep understanding of dental business models, financial metrics, and operational efficiencies Experience with P&L management, budgeting, and scaling multi-location operations Skills & Attributes: • Strong coaching and mentoring abilities able to challenge and inspire dental entrepreneurs., • Strategic thinker can analyze complex problems and provide actionable solutions., • Exceptional communication skills able to simplify complex business concepts for different audiences., • Data-driven decision-maker comfortable with financial statements, KPIs, and operational analytics., • High emotional intelligence (EQ) able to build strong relationships and influence effectively., • Passionate about helping others succeed deeply invested in the growth and development of DEO members.
