Pay Rate: 17.00 per hour Shift: 2pm - 10:30pm - Shift start times: (Monday - 2pm) (Tues-Fri - 1pm) Mandatory Overtime: Required to work 2 - 3 Saturday and Sunday of each month. Mandatory overtime when required Work Hours: Average of 40+ hours per week. Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate II is responsible for a variety of warehouse functions that contribute to the efficient and accurate flow of inventory. These duties include unloading and unpacking shipments, processing inbound inventory, scanning and shelving parts, pulling orders, and entering data into the computerized inventory control system. The role also requires attention to safety, professionalism, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities: • Inbound Shipment Handling:, • Unload and unpack incoming shipments of parts and materials in a safe and efficient manner., • Inspect shipments for accuracy and damage, reporting discrepancies or issues to the supervisor., • Inventory Control:, • Process inbound shipments by scanning items and updating inventory records in the computerized inventory control system., • Shelf parts and materials according to proper organizational guidelines, ensuring that inventory is stored in the correct location for easy retrieval., • Pull orders accurately based on customer or internal order requests and prepare for shipping or further processing., • Scanning and Data Entry:, • Utilize barcode scanning equipment to track and update inventory., • Enter data related to inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and stock levels, into the warehouse management system., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records to ensure inventory control standards are met., • Safety and Workplace Conduct:, • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment., • Follow all company policies related to safety, conduct, and warehouse procedures., • Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to the supervisor., • Maintain professional conduct while working in the warehouse and with team members., • Physical Tasks:, • Lift and move products and materials that may be heavy (up to 50 lbs) and participate in physical tasks such as standing, bending, walking, and lifting for both short and extended periods., • Experience & Knowledge:, • Previous warehouse or inventory experience is preferred but not required., • Familiarity with scanning equipment or barcode technology is a plus., • Physical Ability:, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting., • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods., • Attention to Detail:, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when pulling orders and handling inventory., • Basic data entry skills with the ability to operate a computerized inventory control system., • Work Ethic & Attitude:, • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions., • Must be able to report to work regularly and punctually, including working weekends and overtime as needed., • Safety & Conduct:, • Ability to maintain safety at all times and to adhere to safety standards and policies., • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., • Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time., • Comfortable working in extreme temperature conditions (hot and cold) typical of a warehouse environment.
