Responsibilities • Classroom Management: Plan and implement a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate, engaging, and tailored to the needs and interests of 3-year-olds., • Learning Activities: Create and deliver activities that support the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of each child., • Individual Attention: Provide individualized support to children, recognizing their unique needs and developmental stages., • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress and development., • Safety and Well-being: Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment at all times, following health and safety guidelines., • Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment., • Record Keeping: Document observations and progress of each child to tailor instruction and inform parents.Qualifications, • General: Must pass a background check and be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED., • Education: A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, AA or BA degree or an equivalent credential that addresses comparable competencies is preferred., • Experience: One year of experience in an early childhood program serving children in a developmentally appropriate environment., • Skills: Strong understanding of early childhood development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging and educational activities., • Personal Qualities: Patience, creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young children.
