Job Summary Under the direction of the Chief Technologist or his/her designee, performs radiographic examinations during pain management interventional procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required Essential Functions • Error free data entry in computer systems. Room turnaround time of 5 minutes after completion of previous case (this may also depend on other support services i.e. housekeeping). Ability to work in parallel so that nursing, medical, and technological staff are efficient., • Obtain radiographic images: This task includes the proper setting of exposures factors and proper positioning of the patient including immobilizing devices if necessary to obtain high quality images for physician., • patient position are under the control of the technologist with direction from physician performing procedure and established protocols., • Correct labeling of all radiographic images: This task includes the proper use of the patient identification labels and side markers for identification of each print., • Error free labeling of all images with patient identification label and side markers., • Maintain all necessary records of films, fluoro time, etc., • Error free documentation of necessary records., • Observe all rules and regulations regarding patient identification and radiation safety for patients and staff., • Assist physician if required in the administration of contrast material: these tasks include the preparation of contrast material in syringes and other equipment necessary for injection., • Error free preparation of contrast material., • Train students., • Knowledgeable information while training other associates and students., • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned area., • Clean and orderly work area., • Perform other related assigned tasks. Requirements: • High School Required or equivalent, • Satisfactory completion of a formal two year Radiologic Technology training certified program., • Certified by the ARRT., • Valid X-Ray Tech licensed by the State of New York., • Knowledge of Radiographic exposure equipment and Epic tracking equipment. How You'll Contribute: The Senior Installation Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of installation duties on technology projects for our clients. This position is the key field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our clients' buildings. (Some states have specific requirement in this area), • Maintain daily record of time worked on specific projects for timesheet entry as well as an employee/contractor information log to share with management. Complexity: This level of technician will be responsible for performing tasks on clients' job sites with no supervision. This position is responsible for the coordination with clients, contractors and subcontractors. This position will be the key and only senior field supervisor in many situations and will be responsible for delegating work, monitoring others work and communicating with key stakeholders on behalf of the PM. This position requires the highest level of technical and people skills. Decision Making Authority: This position is often alone on the job sites and requires making good judgement about decisions that need to be made. In general, the project manager and a site supervisor are available to answer questions. This position is independent and will need to make onsite decisions on behalf of the PM. This position requires good diplomacy in working with our clients and other key stakeholders on the job sites. Requirements EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • 5+ years of successful medical device sales experience, • 3+ years of outside sales experience, • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience, • Must reside in the assigned territory, • Ability to drive an automobile with a valid driver’s license and acceptable completion of a motor vehicle report (MVR), • Demonstrated strong business acumen, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Familiarity of MS Office, including MS Teams, • Post offer, must be able to achieve credentialing for hospital system entry including, but not limited to:, • Documentation of vaccination and immunization status, • Completion of background check, • Completion of drug screening testing, • Review and agree to hospital policies and procedures, • Completion of online courses, i.e., HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens and Electrical/Fire Safety PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: • Experience in calling Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, or Cath Lab highly preferred, • Demonstrated understanding of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) process flow, • Knowledge of the cardiac care landscape and customer decision-making processes, • Internal candidates who do not have the required experience may still be considered if they have demonstrated consistent performance aligned with sales expectations and have served in a sales support role. WORK ENVIRONMENT • Fast paced field role, • Noise volume typical of being in the field or clinical setting, • Extended hours when needed, based on business needs, • Kestra manufactures and provides life-saving products regulated by the Federal Food and Drug, • Administration and under contract with Medicare.
