In this role, you will work with blueprints, schematics, technical manuals and bulletins, National Bureau of Standards, manufacturers’ specifications, oral and written instructions. You will be installing instrumentation, primarily strain gauges and thermocouples on all models of Boeing aircraft civilian, military and space. Position Responsibilities: * Receive work assignment from team leader or supervisor and obtain necessary materials and equipment * Obtain appropriate engineering drawings and test documents, as required, for assignment if drawings, sketches, and documents are not with work assignment * Fabricate wire or fiber optic bundles used to connect various types of test and computer equipment together or test sensing equipment used to monitor and measure, for the purpose of collecting and storing data during test * Set up and perform qualification test, bench test, or automatic test as required per work assignment, test document, test equipment manuals, and/or engineering instructions * Install fiber optic strain gages, thermocouples, accelerometers, and strain gages by soldering, bonding, spot welding, or using mechanical fastening devices * Use a scissor or boom lift to access areas for instrumentation installation this work is performed both inside hangars and outside on airfields * Perform modification of test equipment to meet engineering configuration, as required * Select proper hand, power, and/or bench tools needed to perform required operation, such as screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, crimpers, cable tools, band saw, drill press, and sander, as required * Use shop tools and any test equipment required to complete work assignment * Write tie-ins, and maintain records such as work log for areas/equipment as required * Devise and/or build shop aids and work around methods as necessary to test/troubleshoot systems * Handle and protect components and assemblies such as static sensitive equipment in accordance with shop procedures and drawing requirements * Handle and dispose of hazardous materials (ketone, naphtha, alcohol, epoxy, acids) in approved manner (in accordance with Safety Data Sheets) using personal protective equipment as required * Pack electronic equipment for travel as required per drawing and Boeing applicable specifications * Check work after completion of each operation to be sure job is per drawing or other instructions * Put completed job or reworked job up for inspection as required * Contact team leader/supervisor/engineer/planner when assistance is needed (e.g. if there is questions about drawings or paperwork, if drawings and paperwork do not match, or when any other problem arises) * Maintain personal and tool certifications, as required * Comply with applicable tool control policies * Effectively accomplishing the tasks, duties and responsibilities of this job requires at least these attributes * Ability to use precision measuring tools and test equipment and interpret results * Knowledge of routing, clamping, tying, connecting and terminating wires and/or wire bundles in electrical systems and assemblies, per the appropriate electrical codes * Knowledge of aircraft electrical and mechanical systems * Ability to calculate and apply advanced mathematics * Know and interpret data from a coordinate system to identify multiple axis and dimensional references (3-D) * Ability to set up and operate floor mounted hydraulic and/or mechanical operated equipment * Ability to demonstrate entry level competency in operation of PIT (Power Industrial Trucks), in a safe manner as required * Ability to safely operate various types of hand tools and/or hand-held power tools as required * Effectively communicate information * Knowledge of basic electricity and electrical systems * Operate various types of test equipment, perform testing and interpret results, as required * Knowledge of proper use, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials/chemicals, oils, coolants, and lubricants per government regulations and Boeing procedures * Travel up to 10% of the time, both domestically and internationally. Job Description Shelter Operations Manager Camp Second Chance 9701 Myers Way S Seattle WA 98108 This position supervises activities at the site and maintains a safe environment for all the program participants in the Enhanced Shelter. This position also provides emergency coverage as needed and works closely with all Shelter Monitors, Case Managers and LIHI Management team. Responsibilities: * Hire, supervise, and train staff, and interface with vendors, contractors, consultants, and community members. * Complete staff evaluations, set goals with clear performance expectations. * Address performance concerns * Troubleshoot client issues, refer issues as appropriate to management, and work in a team approach to determine the best course of action. * On-site, monitoring the Enhanced Shelter and surrounding areas. Mental Health TriageConduct assessments on calls to the King County Crisis and Commitment public line, evaluating the risk of harm and implementing optimal clinical intervention practices.Provide compassionate emotional support to callers while remaining vigilant regarding crisis and suicide intervention strategies.Utilize the King County Client Lookup System (CLS) to identify callers who may be affiliated with a community mental health center.Ensure meticulous and thorough documentation of all calls in the phone message log, Triage log, and our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Assist the Crisis Services Coordinator during peak periods and upon request, including providing guidance to phone workers with regards to sound clinical judgment during calls.Complete Sheena's law referrals from Law enforcement by conducting telephonic outreach to the person of concern or facilitating crisis services such as the mobile crisis team or Children Crisis Outreach Response System Referral. Notify the Public Mental Health Agency the person of concern is enrolled with, documenting the interaction in the Sheena's law Log forms. Hospital Diversion and Authorization ResponsibilitiesAnswers the Hospital Authorization Line, screening referrals for medical necessity eligibility using Adult and Child Level of Care Utilization Screening Systems (LOCUS and CALOCUS).Ensures accurate and thorough completion and maintenance of all necessary paper documentation and electronic data entry, adhering strictly to established policies and procedures for information gathering, consulting with psychiatrists, and documenting client acceptance or denial of inpatient level of care.Completes all authorizations within two hours of receiving complete referral information and meets all timeline requirements, completing data entry and paper document dissemination for all authorizations within daily shift.Appropriately refers requests for retrospective reviews, length of stay extensions, etc., to HA/DV Lead when appropriate.Offers assistance to the Crisis Services Coordinator during peak periods and/or upon request, which may involve providing guidance to phone workers with sound clinical judgment while they are on a call. One-Call TriageAnswer calls from first responders 24/7, ensuring timely responses to urgent situations.Gather essential information from first responders regarding the individual in crisis.Utilize ECLS/EDIE and other electronic systems to identify available supports or resources for the client.Offer diversion or less restrictive options to first responders in real-time, prioritizing client safety and well-being.Establish a warm connection to the identified resource, facilitating seamless transitions for the individual in crisis.Maintain accurate documentation in BHO log and EHR systems, ensuring thorough record-keeping and compliance with protocols.Complete notifications (via fax, secure email, or other means) to the receiving agency, facilitating smooth coordination of care.Track disposition and ongoing progress of referrals, ensuring a closed-loop referral process for accountability and follow-up. Community Consultation and LinkagesProvides professional consultation to callers on the business line regarding access to the mental health system, crisis intervention, suicide intervention, and other mental health topics as needed.Completes Electronic Client Lookup System (ECLS) search inquiries, disclosing information only to callers with the right to access ECLS information according to policy guidelines, and documents each ECLS search.Utilizes Electronic Health Record System, Carelogic, and County communication systems such as OpenBeds and ECLS Phone Message Log effectively for coordination with DCRs and Mobile Teams.Ensures completion of appropriate screening and linkage to Next Day Appointments, Children's Crisis Outreach and Response System, Mobile Outreach Team, Geriatric Regional Assessment Team, Designated Mental Health Professionals, and other outreach services for callers requesting those services.Ensures accurate and complete documentation of all activities throughout the Quality Assurance (QA) process. New Hire Training Requirements: New hires are expected to attend 3 training shifts per week onsite and will require the following online modules and shadowing shifts before starting their scheduled shifts.
