TheraEX Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Telemetry, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 01/05/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights Unit Notes Auto Offer off of Prescreen MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE CARDIAC DRIPS!! **Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam PRIOR TO SIGNING CONTRACT (2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer. If traveler fails, they will be sent home and made a DNU for 6 months for CSH AZ and CSH Sac regions **There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation. If traveler fails Sim, they will be sent home and made a DNU for 6 mo * Floating is required. Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, any & every holding area (this could be in the Cath Lab, ER, observation floor, even a hallway) They staff the observation floor 1st, then the other units. Floating would include between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses. Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start. Floating to different units mid-shift can happen. Rare to float to another campus within a single shift, but possible. The distance between the 2 campuses is 9 miles. Depending on traffic takes 15 minutes. All interstate. Must clock-out when leaving one campus then clock-in when arrive at the other campus. • Unit: CV Tele B3A, • beds :32 bed, • Certs: BLS, ACLS, • Ratios: 1:3-4, • Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also have a Clinical Supervisor in a management role., • Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients., • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend., • Scrub Color: Navy, • Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs., • Vents: No, • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night., • IV Team: No, • RT 24/7: Yes, • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, • Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7., • Floating: To similar or lower acuity., • Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor., • Unit: A3 Neuro, • beds: 28 bed, • Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, • Ratios: 1:3-4, • Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Also have a Clinical Supervisor in a management role., • Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients., • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend., • Scrub Color: Navy, • Tele: Centralized tele. Medical-Surgical C5 • Unit: MedSurg C5, • beds: 32 beds. Ortho, Surgical, Oncology, • Certs: BLS, ACLS, • Ratios: 1:4 ratio days and nights., • Charge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients. Also has Unit Supervisor., • Nurse Aides: PCTs on days. 1 PCT or Task RN at night., • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat). One major and minor holiday., • Scrub Color: Navy, • Tele: Client Monitors.
