Join us to contribute to an evolving health-care organization dedicated to enabling eye care practitioners to preserve vision. • Location: In person, Port St. Lucie, FL United States, • Position Type: Part-Time We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized coordinator to oversee and execute events for our ophthalmic medical device company. This role will be responsible for planning and managing industry conferences, trade shows, product launches during exhibitions, training sessions, internal and corporate events. Duties Include • Plan and arrange special events, trade shows, wet labs, trainings, meetings and associated business travel., • Organize sponsorship participation for company hosted events. Serve as liaison with vendors on event related matters., • Take ownership of the company’s promotional inventory. This would include replenishing inventory and shipping promotional items to trade shows and internal events., • Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process., • Manage promotional inventory, including stock tracking, restocking, and maintaining an organized storage space., • Prepare, pack, and ship materials for events; ability to lift up to 75 lbs. required., • Manage SOP’s related to the department: Update and document changes as processes evolve., • Some college preferred with 1-2 years of related work experience., • Event planning experience., • Excellent communication, organization, customer service and project management skills., • Experience with Marketing/Web communications, graphic design, usability and/or social media is a plus., • Demonstrate cost awareness and budgeting habits., • Proficient with the latest versions of the Microsoft Office suite., • While performing the duties of this job, the employee performs a desks job for several hours at a time and is regularly required to talk and listen to customers or colleagues., • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Role responsibilities may evolve based on business needs. While this is a part-time position, business growth and strong performance during the probationary period may create an opportunity to transition to full-time. Part-time
