Job Description Summary Are you passionate about nurturing young children in a Christ-centered environment? We’re seeking a dedicated 3-year-old Teacher who will help guide, inspire, and support both children and fellow teachers through faith, love, and learning.The 3-year-old Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the classroom curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. This teacher will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where children are encouraged to explore, grow, and succeed.If you have a heart for ministry, a passion for early education, and a love for helping children grow in both faith and learning, we’d love to have you join our team! Duties • Coordinate and implement an educational curriculum grounded in developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards, • Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching, • Plan and implement individual and group activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth, • Maintain frequent communication with parents, including daily updates, progress reports, and conferences, • Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met, • Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean classroom environment, • Supervise and guide teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to uphold curriculum goals and safety standards, • Keep accurate child records, forms, and documentation, • Commit to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement Requirements • Completion of 45 DCF training hours (required), • CPR and First Aid certification (required), • Demonstrated personal relationship with Jesus Christ, godly character, and a servant heart, • Knowledge of children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development, • Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults Nice To Haves • Minimum of two years of professional child care experience., • Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills., • High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment., • A strong understanding of child development., • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills., • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification., • FCCCPC/CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Benefits Paid time off About Us Foundations Academy partners with families in developing young minds with excellent character, critical thinking skills, a passion for learning, and a love for God.
