Greenwich Country Day School seeks an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, to start in November 2025. The Assistant Coach is responsible for establishing and maintaining a strength and conditioning program for all sports and student-athletes, with the three major goals of improving athletic performance, reducing athletic injuries, and teaching lifelong fitness and movement skills. The Strength and Conditioning Coach devises training plans according to sound scientific principles, supervises training sessions, evaluates athletes, maintains athletic records, and teaches strength and conditioning/exercise physiology classes. The Strength and Conditioning coach meets regularly with sports coaches to determine what the athletes need to work on. If working with an injured athlete engaged in rehabilitation, the Strength and Conditioning coach will consult with the sports medicine staff. The Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for maintaining the strength and conditioning facility and establishing policies, plans, and for the safe and professional operation of the facility. Responsibilities • Design and implement strength training and conditioning programs in‐season, off‐season, and pre‐season for all school‐sanctioned athletic programs in a manner that reflects research-driven practices, • Work in cooperation with the athletic training staff in the rehabilitation and strengthening of injured athletes, • Facilitate a collaborative relationship among sports coaches and sports medicine team, fostering an environment that demonstrates a commitment to inclusion and cultural competency, • Design and implement policies and procedures for the strength and conditioning program for student-athletes and general fitness participants., • Develop systems for tracking athlete attendance and athlete progress in conjunction with the sports coaches, • Conduct an annual needs‐analysis for each sports team in conjunction with the sports coach and the team’s athletic trainer at the conclusion of each sport season, • Work in collaboration with the Athletic Director to complete an annual budgetary proposal for the program that includes routine maintenance, purchasing of new equipment, and staffing needs, • Design and instruct curricular strength and conditioning classes, • Responsible for the overall appearance and functionality of the fitness areas, • BS in Kinesiology or related field, • 3+ years of experience in coaching, strength, and conditioning, or equivalent combination of education and experience as a strength and conditioning coach, • A current relevant profession, certification credentialed by an independent accreditation agency– for example, the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification, • Experience working with TeamBuildr software, • A strong working knowledge and teaching skills in analysis and techniques of strength training, including the ability to use data and information effectively, • Experience and/or expertise in strength and conditioning programming for high school populations, • Strong motivational abilities, • The ability to interact and lead positively with student athletes, colleagues, and the public, • Ability to demonstrate the appropriate skills and techniques to be used by the athlete, • Ability to visually monitor athletes Powered by JazzHR ekf3ZAsaN9

Job Description FACILITIES ASSOCIATE (Night Shift) Westchester The Windward School is currently seeking a full time Facilities Associates for our Westchester locations. We have two open positions, one at our Westchester Middle School and the other a floater at both the Westchester Lower and Middle School. This position is an evening shift 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
