Job Description A Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver will mostly be working in our warehouse picking/checking orders, shipping/receiving materials and occasionally required to fill in driving duties with our 26' Box Truck. Day to do responsibilities will vary depending on customer order volume and inbound material shipments. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Pick and check daily customer orders accurately, • Assist the warehouse manager with inventory accuracy, organization and product movement, • Assist customers with Will Call pickups, • Legally operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record that meets company standards, • Load all order fulfillment materials onto the truck for delivery and unload at delivery, • Communicate with customers on jobsites about ETAs and shipment discrepancies, • Communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to direct supervisor, • Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • valid driver's license and a clean driving history. A CDL endorsement is not required -Authorization to work in the United States -forklift experience -required to lift boxes/materials up to 60lbs on a regular basis PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -proficient in Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel) -experience with WMS (warehouse management systems) -experience shipping via UPS, FedEx Freight and other common carriers -Shipping and Receiving -Order Fulfillment/Order Checking -Ability to do basic mental math -Inventory management and organization NOTE: Because positions may evolve due to the needs of the business, this job description may not list all essential functions and is not designed to contain a comprehensive listing of all required activities, duties, or responsibilities.
