Compensation & Earning Potential • Base Hourly Rate: $29.00 to $37.00/hour (based on pediatric experience), • Paid at same rate for cancellations/no-shows Comprehensive Benefits Package: • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • 6 paid holidays + PTO (80-120 hours/year based on tenure), • 401k retirement plan, • Student Loan Repayment Assistance: $200/month after 2 years, increasing to $400/month after 4 years, • CEU reimbursement ($300-$1,000 yearly based on tenure), • Additional therapy supply reimbursement (up to $200/year), • Leadership development and clinical ladder advancement opportunities, • No weekend requirements, • Manageable caseload As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will play a crucial role in helping children reach their full potential through therapeutic interventions and activities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists., • Conducting therapeutic exercises and activities to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual perception, and self-care abilities., • Providing support to children with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and other conditions., • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and speech-language pathology assistants to ensure comprehensive care., • Documenting patient progress, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports for insurance purposes., • Educating parents and caregivers on home programs and strategies to reinforce therapy goals. Requirements: • Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in California, • A passion for working with children and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in their lives., • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers., • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple cases and maintain accurate documentation., • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of pediatric patients., • Ability to work independently while also being a team player., • Previous experience in pediatric occupational therapy or relevant fieldwork experience is preferred.
