Job DescriptionJob Scope: • Professional knowledge of activities and sequences required to furnish a code-compliant structure for South Florida Multi-Family Construction., • Deliver Structure On-Time and On-Budget., • Plan, Schedule, and direct area of work in accordance with project Documents., • Coordination of Sequence and Operations:, • Land Preparation, • Soil Preparation, • Underground Utilities, • Dewatering, • Foundations, • Vertical Construction, • Coordination of all required inspections and documentation needed for compliant building., • Leadership and ability to make decisions., • Collaboration with On-Site Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Admin for a successful build., • Preparation and participation in Jobsite meetings., • Ability to recognize, correct and mitigate safety issues., • Reference and maintain project schedule. Suggest ways to become more efficient., • Ability to request information or provide feedback to design professionals when issues arise., • Management of Structure and MEP Trades to ensure efficient and collaborative build process. Qualifications:, • Minimum 15 Years Experience in South Florida Construction. Minimum 10 years of work experience as a Structural Superintendent in New Construction on projects ranging in value from $15M-$150M., • Knowledge of Formwork, Shoring, Reinforcing, Concrete Placing and Finishing, Masonry Work, Roofing and Exterior Cladding., • Must be familiar and fluent in reading Construction Drawings, specifically:, • Structural Drawings and Details, • Reinforcing Steel/Post-Tension Reinforcement Shop Drawings, • Elevator Shop Drawings, • Window and Door Shop Drawings, • Shoring Shop Drawings, • Pre-Cast Garage Shop Drawings, • Ability to coordinate, Submittals, RFIs with current working set of plans and coordinate among these documents to make informed decisions., • Well-developed communications, preferably Bi-Lingual., • Collaborative teamwork skills are required., • Well Organized., • Knowledge of Cast-In-Place Construction Styles, • Conventional Cast-In Place Shell Construction, • Post-Tension Shell Construction, • Pre-Cast Shell Construction, • General knowledge of Civil Sitework., • U/G Utilities, • Earthwork, • Dewatering, • Site Logistics, • Building and Inspection Procedures, • Florida Building Code PracticesResponsibilities:, • Overall coordination of all structural and MEP trades working onsite to ensure a safe and efficient structural build., • Responsible for coordination and oversight of the area of work. Taking into consideration budget as it pertains to labor, material, and equipment., • Daily communication with Team Superintendents to ensure coordinated work., • Enforcement of project schedule and sequence with trades., • Identifies Project requirements and Owner Contract requirements, oversees and manages all field construction processes., • Verify accuracy of drawing plan measurements of floors, walls, ceilings, etc. Identify discrepancies and take corrective action with the Construction Team., • Prepare and maintain Daily reports as required by Company Standards., • Document issues regarding quality, schedule, safety, and conformance. Collaborate with On-Site Team for support., • Verify accuracy of drawings. Any discrepancies and deviations need to be qualified in writing., • Manages Trade Partners’ Scopes of work., • Contributes to job-site housekeeping:, • Secured Site, • Safety Meetings, • Identify any risks., • MOT, • Parking & Staging Areas, • Cleanliness., • Contribute to weekly Subcontractor Meetings:, • Constant review of RFIs and Submittals, • Ensure all trades are reviewing latest plans., • Safety, • Have OSHA 30 Training, • Ensure personnel abide by GC safety requirements during walks, • Project Closeout:, • Oversight of Punch lists and Acceptance by Owner., • Maintain area of work in a clean and finish manner.
