ARE YOU THE WASTEWATER - BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECH WE'RE LOOKING FOR? • Related experience in general maintenance, plumbing, and grounds maintenance, • Knowledge of OSHA and E.P.A. regulations and requirements, • Experience in a USDA meat processing facility is preferred, • Previous experience in the wastewater treatment process is preferred, • Basic building maintenance skills, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc., • Basic computer skills to utilize our computer system to retrieve work assignments and enter basic information into the system, • Basic knowledge of operating a computer and computer software, • Safety conscious and have good initiative, • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, • Ability to work holidays and weekends, • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle, feel, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk/hear, and taste/smell, • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds, • Ability to work around fumes or airborne particles and in outside weather conditions, • Ability to work various shifts, • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos AVERAGE DAY AS A WASTEWATER - BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECH As our Wastewater - Building Maintenance Tech, you oversee the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), ensuring its safe and effective operation throughout the day.
