Purpose of Your Work: As Distribution Compliance Analyst working within Redwood Distribution (one of our entities), you will be responsible for managing, securing, and renewing distribution licenses across multiple states to ensure compliance with legal regulations and customer requirements; managing the financial operations of creating, reconciling, and providing accurate invoices to our customers and maintaining detailed records; developing, maintaining and enhancing KPI dashboards and performance reports. How You Make a Difference Everyday: Regulatory Compliance • Manage the end-to-end licensing process, ensuring compliance with state laws, policies, regulations., • Prepare, review, and submit accurate licensing applications, permits, renewals., • Act as the primary contact for state regulatory agencies to resolve issues, answer inquiries, and ensure timely approval., • Maintain detailed, organized, and up-to-date compliance databases and records., • Stay abreast of changes in state laws and regulations that affect distribution and update internal procedures accordingly., • Ensure SOP compliance with applicable regulations and customer requirements. Financial Operations • Reconcile and verify invoices and expenses per customer on a timely basis to ensure accurate customer invoicing., • Prepare, issue, and send accurate invoices, backup documentation and credit memos to customers., • Resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal departments., • Maintain accurate records of invoices., • Respond to customer queries regarding invoices. Reporting • Provide high-level administrative support, acting as the primary liaison for internal/external communications., • Proactively manage complex diaries, scheduling, and reporting., • Develop, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards and recurring performance reports., • Collect, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems to ensure accuracy and consistency., • Monitor trends, identify performance gaps, and highlight risks and opportunities., • Partner with operational, finance, and leadership teams to define KPIs aligned with business objectives., • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort., • Prepare executive-level summaries, scorecards, and presentations., • Ensure standardized KPI definitions, calculation logic, and documentation., • Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests as needed., • Continuously improve reporting tools and methodologies based on business needs. You’ve Got This? • Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Finance, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)., • 3+ years in licensing, regulatory compliance, or administrative roles., • 2-5 years of experience in KPI reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation)., • Experience with reporting or BI tools (e.g., dashboards, data visualization platforms)., • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights., • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction., • Ability to manage high-volume paperwork and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with SQL, data warehouses, or ERP systems., • Knowledge of operational or supply chain metrics (if applicable)., • Experience building automated dashboards and self-service reporting., • Familiarity with KPI frameworks and performance management best practices. Some Saturday work may be required with prior notice. Overtime availability is required and dependent upon customer’s needs. Compensation Range: Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 This position is eligible to earn annual incentives based on individual and company performance. The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
