Miller Transportation Group is immediately hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician and Reefer Technician for our Miller Truck Leasing division in Rochester, NY. With over 100 years of experience and upwards of 8,000 trucks on the road, Miller currently operates 40 Diesel Maintenance shops throughout KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH. Requirements You Will: • Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 refrigeration vehicles, • Diagnose, document, and repair refrigeration equipment following proper warranty procedures, • Work inside and in the yard doing yard checks and repairs You Have: • 3 or more years experience working on a Refrigerated Units and/or have a valid 608 certification - ThermoKing experience highly preferable, • Strong diagnostic skills, • Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors, • A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer, • Hand tools, • Ability to work:, • Competitive compensation: $25-$35 per hour, • Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Car Allowance, • Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance with HRA, HSA, and FSA options, • 401(k) with a company provided match, • Company-paid life insurance, • Employee Discounts and an Employee Assistance Program If you are looking for a great, safe work environment, look no further. Cook Properties is New York State’s largest owner and operator of manufactured housing communities. Our portfolio includes 100+ manufactured home parks totaling 6,500 pads. We also own and manage 200,000+ square feet of commercial, retail, and office space, along with 2000 self-storage units. What you’ll get to do: As an Electrician, you will; • Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in Manufactured homes., • Install conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables., • Ensure piping complies with electrical codes., • Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them., • Connect electrical systems to power lines to provide electricity to homes., • Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation., • Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed., • Replace conduit and wiring as needed., • Replace circuit breakers as needed., • Perform other related duties as assigned.
