The Senior Hotel Resort & Spa Development Project Manager will act as Owner’s Representative, strategic development lead, and construction oversight authority across high-value hospitality assets. This role requires a balance of financial discipline, brand alignment, design excellence, and operational readiness to protect long-term asset value and investor returns. The position will be reporting to the Miami office, but traveling to the site in Orlando, Florida. Strategic Mandate The Senior Manager will: • Lead full lifecycle resort development from acquisition to opening, • Protect investment returns through disciplined budget and schedule control, • Align design execution with global brand standards, • Integrate spa and wellness components as revenue-driving assets, • Institutionalize reporting, risk management, and quality control frameworks Core Responsibilities 1. Development Strategy & Feasibility • Lead site due diligence and entitlement coordination, • Oversee feasibility modeling and capital planning, • Support investment committee presentations, • Coordinate with ownership, investors, and executive stakeholders, • Manage brand selection and technical services agreements 2. Design & Brand Integration • Oversee architectural, engineering, and interior design consultants, • Manage concept through construction documentation, • Ensure compliance with luxury brand standards, • Lead value engineering while preserving design integrity 3. Construction Oversight & Contract Governance • Support contractor prequalification and selection, • Participate in GMP and contract negotiations, • Monitor schedule, budget, contingencies, and change management, • Conduct regular site inspections, • Mitigate construction and commercial risks, • Deliver executive reporting dashboards 4. Spa & Wellness Asset Development • Lead spa concept positioning and operational alignment, • Coordinate specialty consultants and equipment planning, • Ensure revenue optimization and guest experience alignment, • Integrate wellness programming into overall resort identity 5.
