Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 5x8hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Apr 8, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, • 40 hours per week, • Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility, • On-call schedule to be determined by the facility, • 13-week contractRequirements, • Minimum of 24 months of current Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required, • Active ARRT certification with Nuclear Medicine (N) specialty, or CNMT within 6 months of hire, • Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from the Texas Medical Board (temporary or permanent); license required if applicable, • Active AHA BLS certification, • Ability to operate Gamma cameras including SPECT/CT and PET/CT scanners, nuclear medicine computers, and Cardiac Stress equipment, • Ability to administer IM and IV injections and start IV lines, • Basic knowledge of nuclear medicine therapeutic treatments and EKG for cardiac studies, • Thorough working knowledge of nuclear medicine technology, including relevant chemistry, physics, mathematics, and biomedical sciences, • Siemens and Spectrum Imaging experience highly preferred, • 2 supervisory references from within the last year required for consideration, • Proof of taxable address required for consideration (e.g., Driver's License, utility bill, lease agreement, bank statement, etc.)Additional Information, • Perform quality control measures on nuclear medicine equipment including troubleshooting and maintenance to support quality management programs, • Confer with physicians to determine appropriate procedures and ensure effective operations, • Document all laboratory operations including receipt and disposition of radioactive materials, QC data, patient procedures, and medical records, • Provide clinical instruction to radiology students and residents, • Stay current with developments in nuclear medicine through professional development activities and participation in organizations such as ARRT, • Any previous employment history at the facility must be disclosed, • No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for the duration of the contract With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
