Job Description GROUP MANAGER - TRANSPORTATION Full-Time | Exempt Flexible Work Structure | King of Prussia, PA / Allentown, PA SN is proud to support HRG, an employee-owned, nationally recognized consulting engineering, planning, and infrastructure solutions firm, as they seek a highly motivated and collaborative Group Manager | Transportation to join their team! As a Group Manager | Transportation with HRG, you will be responsible for cultivating a coaching culture and ensuring high standards in project execution and client satisfaction. As a leader, you will actively contribute to the company’s mission to uphold HRG’s reputation for quality, service, and reliability while strengthening their presence in the community. The experienced candidate may reside in either our King of Prussia or Allentown, PA offices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Team Leadership: Inspire and coach group members to enhance our employee-owner culture and drive engagement in their professional development, • Delivery Excellence: Ensure timely and superior project delivery while collaborating across service groups, • Client Stewardship: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships and satisfaction, • Financial Discipline: Manage project budgets, prioritize workloads, and ensure fiscal responsibility, • Capacity Alignment: Work closely with Operations and Service AVPs to address staffing, resource allocation, and operational efficiency REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor’s degree in in Civil Engineering or related field, • Professional Engineer Licensure, • Minimum of 7 years of varied transportation work with emphasis on planning, roadway design, traffic impact studies, structural design, intersection analysis and improvement, parking studies, traffic signal design, specification writing, and construction administration, • Proficiency with various transportation-related software, drafting software, and Microsoft Office Suite is required, • Experience in client relations, proposal preparation, project budgeting, and public presentations, • Ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative teams, with a strong emphasis on coaching, mentoring, and fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment, • Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills, • Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, project management systems, etc., • Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays., • Possess a valid driver’s license., • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Life at HRG Are you a creative problem solver who wants to make a difference in people’s everyday lives?
