Job DescriptionCT Technologist – Day Shift Great Lakes Medical Imaging (GLMI) Reports to: CT Manager Status: Non-Exempt Pay Range: $26–$38 per hour Deliver Advanced Imaging with Compassionate Care Great Lakes Medical Imaging is seeking a skilled and patient-focused CT Technologist to join our CT team. This role provides high-quality CT imaging while supporting an exceptional patient experience throughout their visit. The CT Technologist works collaboratively across departments and performs a variety of duties beyond imaging, including patient communication, documentation, and team support. Why You'll Love Working at GLMI • Day shift schedule with consistent hours, • Collaborative, team-oriented work environment, • Focus on patient-centered care and clinical excellence, • Values-driven culture guided by the Great Lakes Way, • Opportunity to work with advanced CT technologyKey Responsibilities, • Perform CT examinations as ordered by referring physicians, • Assist with CT-guided Interventional Radiology procedures, • Start IV lines using proper technique, • Communicate with patients regarding medical history, symptoms, and procedures, • Accurately enter and verify data in the Radiology Information System (RIS), • Verify physician orders and follow GLMI CT scan protocols, • Perform daily quality assurance testing with documentation, • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment, • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and modesty at all times, • Assist fellow technologists, including support with DR X-ray procedures as needed, • Restock supplies and maintain inventory lists, • Operate CT equipment (Siemens & GE), power injectors, PACS/RIS systems, and related technology, • Work overtime as neededWhat We're Looking For, • Associate's degree in Applied Science, Radiologic Technology from an ARRT-approved program, • New York State Radiologic Technology License or valid temporary license, • ARRT Certification in CT (or within one year of training completion per GLMI policy), • Valid BLS Certification, • Experience with radiology and medical terminology, • Strong communication, customer service, and technical skillsPhysical & Mental Requirements, • Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment, • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use a computer for extended periods, • Ability to communicate clearly with patients in person and by phone, • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Mindset, Values, and Behaviors MINDSET: Compassion, at every interaction Patient Care- Customer Service • Greet with eye contact and share a smile., • Interact with patients at their pace and level., • Demonstrate patience and compassion when interacting with patients., • Share information, knowledge, and expertise., • Ask for, accept, and use feedback., • Anticipate and prevent potential problems., • Be responsible and efficient with Great Lakes resources (time, scheduling, property, equipment, etc.)., • Take personal responsibility for your work area and the quality of your work., • Speak positively about Great Lakes, team members, and patients., • Recognize and share successes of the Great Lakes Way in action., • Proactively offer to help others., • Be flexible and embrace changes with a positive attitude., • Contribute to a fun, energetic, and positive work environment.
