Job DescriptionMIG Welder – 1st ShiftAbout the Role We are currently seeking experienced MIG Welders to join our growing team on 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM). This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders with a strong background in fabrication and production welding who are looking for stability, great benefits, and room to grow. In this role, you’ll perform MIG welding, fabrication, and finishing work on steel storage and shipping containers. All work is completed on-site in a fast-paced production environment where containers move through multiple departments on an automated conveyor system. What You’ll Do • Perform stitch welds and full welds on components and assemblies using the GMAW (MIG) process, • Read and interpret blueprints and basic prints, • Measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure, • Use hand and power tools, including grinders, • Operate oxy/acetylene and plasma cutting equipment as needed, • Monitor welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, distortion, or material shrinkage, • Set up and operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment, • Safely and efficiently use tools common to the welding tradeWhat We’re Looking For, • Approximately 5 years of hands-on welding experience, • Ability to pass the AWS 4G welding test, • Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills, • Experience with MIG welding required, • Experience with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutters is a plusAdditional Skills That Set You Apart, • Ability to lay out and measure materials accurately, • Experience drilling and punching holes for fasteners, • Knowledge of fastening methods including welds, bolts, rivets, and solder, • Ability to fabricate or modify parts using various tools, • Competitive pay, • 401(k) with employer match, • Medical, dental, and group life insurance, • Paid vacation and holidays, • Quarterly safety incentive bonus, • Career advancement opportunities in a growing company Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
