The Artist, Creative Development will be responsible for providing visual guidance and brand feedback, as well as concept and design support as needed to our external development teams to elevate the visual quality of our diverse portfolio of mobile, console, and PC games. This role draws upon not only your skills as an artist and game developer, but also your knowledge of gaming trends and as a passionate Disney enthusiast who can creatively support our external partners. You will be responsible for reviewing visual development submissions, providing feedback to external game development partners, and guiding visual design through the lens of our characters and worlds, to ensure that each game is a compelling, appealing, and authentic Disney & Pixar experience. This is a full-time on-site position, and candidates must be willing to relocate to Southern California. Please share or disable any passwords for efficient review of portfolios. * Supports Visual Design on small to medium scale projects as an expert on the worlds, stories, and characters of Disney & Pixar. * With oversight from the Lead Creative, drives the visual quality & brand integrity of the projects to which they are assigned. * Collaborate with external game partners on visual designs throughout the product lifecycle (from ideation to release to live operations) on assigned projects. * Provides visual feedback, guidance, resources and direction to help deliver quality and brand authenticity across assigned games in the form of draw-overs, painter-overs, and written notes. * Problem-solves brand/visual design challenges, always working towards visual improvement of our products, characters, and worlds. * Communicates and collaborates directly with our Product Development, our Brand Relations teams. * Contribute to special internal projects beyond visual development of games, including the creation of team branding, presentation decks and unique executions. Brand & Franchise Guidance: * Collaborates with partners to create gameplay experiences that authentically represent our brands and engage gamers and fans alike. * Creatively and mindfully work within existing and upcoming Disney and Pixar IP guidelines to provide guidance to our partners that ensures that the game art direction and visuals within our products are being designed and executed mindfully, authentically, and respectfully. * 3+ years Game Development related experience on a mobile, console or pc. * Has shipped mobile, console, and/or PC games with live operations components. * Experience working on content based on intellectual properties. * Ability to create compelling artwork and illustrations. With a strong portfolio showcasing relevant examples. * Passionate Disney & Pixar enthusiast, a must. * An avid fan of games and gaming. Stays up to date on new games and is a gameplayer. The Principal Electrical Engineer will manage, support, guide, and execute various electrical engineering projects throughout the Disneyland Resort. As the specialized owner’s representative, you will engage in a diverse amount of low voltage (AC & DC) thru medium (up to 5kV) voltage facilities-based projects from inception through implementation. This role will entail developing bid level design and construction documents including proposals, specifications, design packages, and construction support. You will spearhead multiple projects through the partnership and management of external consultants. You will engage and coordinate directly with architects and complementary engineering disciplines with the stakeholders. You will develop request for proposals and expound on workload estimates with critical path schedule dates to support our project management teams. You may be tasked to respond to spontaneous projects as needed. You will report to the Sr. Manager, MEP Engineering with DLR Architecture and Facilities Engineering. What You Will Do * Act as Owner’s Technical Representative on projects from concept through sustainment throughout the Disneyland Resort and ancillary properties. Perform as Owner’s Representative, including witnessing the signing and sealing of construction documents as needed. * Provide engineering guidance and best practices established in Disney Master Design Specifications (DMGS), and other Disney design requirements. * Manage the design and development of contract documents of projects with in-house and outside resources to meet project scopes, schedules, and budgets. * Coordinate design activities and monitor field installations and demolition work that comply with specifications and code requirements. * Enforce DMGS and related engineering best practices. * Use and build prior experience to develop concept designs and RFPs (Request for Proposals). * Review drawings, engineering calculations, and specifications and ensure that all projects are designed and executed to applicable local and state codes and statutes. * Review shop drawing submittals and respond to vendor’s requests for information per Resort standards. * Perform site visits to solve problems and minimize schedule impacts. * Partner with internal teams to develop, maintain, communicate, and enforce Walt Disney Company design guidelines, standards, master specifications, and details. * Assist Project and Design Managers to resolve design compliance issues relating to Project requirements. Validate that all Item Specifications are consistent with products installed before archiving manuals. * Build enhanced communications and expectations to successfully execute all projects. What We Look For * 12+ years of work experience in electrical engineering performing designs, calculations, code adherence and direct construction support. * Proven commercial and industrial facility (RD&E, CEP, etc.) electrical engineering experience while collaborating with other engineering and design disciplines. * Thorough understanding of the California Electrical code, IEEE electrical low voltage (Brown, Buff and Red book), California energy code (i.e. Title 24), able to develop concepts, further and enhance electrical safety practices, and procedures within electrical engineering design, implementation, and provide overall discipline stewardship. * Experience collaborating with conscious engagement as a team member to ensure successful results. * Well versed in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM and Lighting design. Our maintenance team is central to that mission. We are currently seeking a Level 3 Roving Maintenance Technician—a skilled, dependable professional with a broad maintenance skill set, strong personal integrity, and pride in doing the job right the first time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently across multiple properties, understands how to manage their time and workload, and still values being part of a collaborative, respectful and professional team. About the Role As a Level 3 Roving Maintenance Technician, you will support multiple residential communities throughout the Los Angeles County region. You will primarily work independently handling work orders, unit turns, and preventive maintenance, while also collaborating with other senior technicians on larger renovation projects and work orders. Additionally, at times, you may be supported by junior technicians. In those moments while partnering with others, regardless of experience and skill level, we expect all employees to be willing to guide, teach, learn and lead by example, not by ego.
