Job Description We are looking for an experienced, energetic, knowledgeable Group Fitness Coach/Instructor to lead HIIT group fitness sessions weekly as well as personal training sessions. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for seeing people transform from a holistic health and longevity perspective; possess a high level of technical knowledge and coaching skills, including appropriate modification options; embody and embrace our "iron sharpens iron" brand; and be punctual, reliable, dependable, and a team player. We are anticipating growth from a business perspective as well as within this position in the coming months. Position Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and high-energy Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead: • HIIT/functional fitness group classes, • Women’s weightlifting & strength programs Key Responsibilities HIIT / Functional Fitness Coaching • Lead high-energy group classes with clear instruction and strong cueing., • Teach Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics progressions, metabolic conditioning, and mobility work., • Scale and modify workouts appropriately for all fitness levels., • Design and coach women-focused strength programs., • Teach proper technique with emphasis on confidence, form, and progression., • Support goal setting related to strength, body composition, and performance., • Lead strength and functional movement sessions for older adults., • Apply kinesiology principles to improve balance, mobility, coordination, and joint health., • Modify exercises for injuries, joint limitations, and chronic conditions., • Conduct movement assessments and provide corrective guidance., • Monitor member progress and provide individualized feedback., • Assist in program development and community events., • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards. Required • Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field (or strong equivalent experience), • CPR/AED & First Aid Certified, • Strong understanding of biomechanics and functional movement, • Experience coaching group fitness classes, • Comfortable working with women and senior populationsCompany DescriptionFortified Fitness is a community-focused functional fitness gym in Glendora dedicated to building strength, confidence, and longevity through expert coaching.
