Job Description We are Secure Community Network (SCN), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) serving as the official safety and security organization of the Jewish community in North America. The Supervisory Intelligence Analyst will serve as the day-to-day team lead, overseeing intelligence operations within a Regional Threat Center and managing daily workflows for a team of Intelligence Analysts. The Supervisory Intelligence Analyst will lead the team in compiling briefs, memos, reports, and intelligence products for internal and external use, while also maintaining and updating databases and coordinating and delivering presentations. This role reports into and is supported by SCN's centralized Threat Management and Information Sharing operation, working embedded within and under the direction of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation in conducting proactive research and online monitoring of known and potential threat actors in South Florida. They will work closely with local law enforcement and Jewish communal partners to enhance intelligence-sharing and threat mitigation. The position requires a high level of expertise in applying analytical methods and techniques to conduct in-depth analysis of multifaceted data to identify methods, trends, and patterns related to threats and hazards. Keeping abreast of current events, particularly those related to relevant subjects and regions, and providing insightful analysis for internal and external stakeholders will be essential. This Supervisory Intelligence Analyst position plays a crucial role in delegating tasks and responsibilities for the team, ensuring the timely and accurate dissemination of intelligence information to support the organization's mission and objectives. The Supervisory Intelligence Analyst will be expected to work onsite at the Greater Miami Jewish Federation in Miami, FL. WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Guide Intelligence Analysts in capturing, assessing, interpreting, corroborating, and distributing intelligence using various databases, software platforms, and online portals., • Monitor incoming incident and suspicious activity reports and prioritize and assign tasking based on urgency, type and severity of threat, and availability and skillsets of the team., • Coordinate, facilitate, and deliver internal and external briefings and other meetings related to intelligence activities., • Work closely with the local Security Director and/or other executive security leadership of the partner Federation to define and confirm the priority analytic efforts, conduct regional threat assessments, and develop collection requirements to guide the work of the Regional Threat Center., • Provide intelligence updates, reports, and emerging threat assessments to the JSOCC, executive security leadership of the partner Federation, and other relevant security partners., • Coordinate with the JSOCC to ensure alignment with national intelligence priorities; receive support and review of intelligence operations and discuss national threat trends and adapt intelligence-gathering strategies accordingly., • Ensure continuity of operations between analysts and for the team as a whole, tracking and disseminating information internally on trends, priorities, and other important considerations., • Provide quality assurance on intelligence products, including verifying and vetting analysts' work., • Ensure timely summarization of information from multiple sources into concise, analytical assessments and facilitate their dissemination to meet priority collection requirements and intelligence gaps., • Oversee the monitoring and timely reporting of raw intelligence through various media forms and documentation tools. Facilitate general information sharing to identify key patterns., • Lead efforts to identify intelligence collection gaps and develop mitigation recommendations., • Lead the production of original intelligence products, including verbal briefings, intelligence bulletins, and situation reports., • Direct the extraction of essential information from intelligence products and investigations., • Guide the team in identifying and reporting patterns of complex behavior and activity., • Apply advanced analytic methods and techniques to synthesize raw information into intelligence products for dissemination., • Convey a clear and accurate understanding of present and future threats to relevant stakeholders, including SCN intelligence and executive leadership teams., • Proactively mitigate potential threats using highly developed inductive reasoning skills., • Foster and maintain professional and effective working relationships inside and outside the organization., • Analyze homeland security, law enforcement, and non-law enforcement data and trends., • Engage in variable shift work, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and participation in on-call rotations., • Bachelor's Degree with three to five years of experience in analytical and research roles in a similar environment or equivalent combination of education and experience., • Proven leadership and mentorship skills and abilities., • Demonstrated proficiency in intelligence tradecraft, analytic methodologies, and intelligence product development., • Advanced understanding of analytic tools, structured techniques, and the intelligence cycle., • Prior experience generating and presenting intelligence products to internal leadership and external stakeholders., • Experience conducting threat or vulnerability assessments using recognized methodologies., • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief executives and partners., • Strong ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into concise, analytic assessments., • Familiarity with relevant technology and platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, OSINT tools, social media (traditional and alternative), records management software, mass alert systems, mapping software, and automated monitoring systems and software., • Capable of managing multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurate data entry with attention to detail., • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to diverse information sets., • Proven ability to maintain accurate and complete files., • Effective oral and written communication skills., • Strong judgment under pressure., • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of professionals. The target annual salary for this position is $90,000. Final annual salary offered will be determined through a thorough assessment of multiple factors and criteria which may include candidate experience and qualifications, available market data, internal salary equity, and budget considerations.
