Position Overview: Job Title: Manager of Behavior Services Location: Rochester, NY Department: Psychology / Behavioral Services Reports To: Associate Director of Psychological Services Employment Type: Full-Time, Days Starting Wage: $74,118 - $80,570/annually Why You Should Work for Lifetime Assistance? • No-Premium Health Insurance: Access comprehensive healthcare without added cost. • Education Support: Tuition assistance, scholarships — 50% off tuition for two courses per semester plus up to $3,000 scholarship per semester — plus micro-credential stipends up to $750 and SUNY partnerships., • Paid Training & Coaching: Receive hands-on onboarding with a Success Coach, immersive learning, e-learning, and ongoing paid training., • Career Growth: Clear pathways to advancement, leadership training, and coaching support., • Work-Life Harmony: Generous paid time off and supportive scheduling. • Assist the Associate Director of Psychological Services in managing the daily operations of the Psychology Department and supervising behavior services. • Provide administrative and clinical supervision to Behavior Specialists (BA, MA, and Senior levels)., • Coordinate coverage for residential and day program sites and provide support as needed., • Oversee the development and implementation of behavior support plans and psychological assessments., • Develop objectives and outcomes that address psychological and behavioral needs to maximize independence, inclusion, and personal growth., • Provide training, coaching, and consultation to staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members on behavior management and psychological services., • Participate in Life Plan reviews, team meetings, and interdisciplinary planning sessions., • Maintain documentation and recordkeeping in accordance with OPWDD and agency standards., • Model and promote positive, respectful, and person-centered interactions with the people we support. • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a closely related field. • Must meet Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) requirements., • At least five (5) years of experience in behavioral assessment and plan development for individuals with developmental disabilities., • Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience leading behavioral or clinical teams., • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, families, and external providers., • Must meet agency vehicle operator requirements and maintain a valid NYS driver’s license. • Mission-Driven Work: Empowering individuals to live with independence and purpose—here, your work truly matters. • Inclusive & Supportive: A workplace built on respect, dignity, and a shared vision of inclusion.
