See more about Alleviant at . Position Overview Overall responsibilities include assessment and treatment of mental illness through a combination of evaluations and medication management. Works collaboratively with the Medical Director. This individual provides safe, effective, and compassionate care that is consistent with State and Federal regulations and Company policies, procedures, and guidelines and within his/her scope of practice. This is an in-person position at the Alleviant Henderson clinic. Essential Job Functions • Gathers and maintains patient information and health history., • Conducts assessments, interviews, and observations., • Analyzes and evaluates patient data and findings to diagnose the nature and condition of mental disorders., • Offers and performs medication management, infusions, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and psychotherapy to patients., • Prepares and maintains confidential records and reports., • Ensures treatment plans are devised, updated, and conducted., • Works in collaboration with the Medical Director and/or Chief Medical Officer to develop treatment plans., • Monitors the use of medications., • Advises families on condition and treatment., • Refers clients to community resources or specialists as necessary., • Evaluates the effectiveness of treatment regimens and client progress., • Learns new developments in the field through professional literature, attending courses, and maintaining contact with other social service agencies., • Provides consultation to other professionals engaging in psychological approaches., • Organizes community education workshops in the facility and attends selected local community programs., • Builds a referral base by visiting with local providers., • Participates in educational outreach activities, such as provider luncheons., • Provides industry-relevant tips for the facility newsletter and community blog., • Follows company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control., • Provides patient education and answers questions from prospective patients and referring physicians., • Enforces all HIPAA compliance guidelines., • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds., • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with both internal and external clients that lead to more effective communication and a higher level of productivity and accuracy., • Knowledge of the healthcare industry – Health Plan, MSO, CMS, Federal regulations., • Strong analytical skills., • Excellent written and oral communication skills., • Carries out all duties in a professional and courteous manner., • Possesses interpersonal and listening skills to interact effectively with individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and educational levels., • Strong customer service skills to identify and address patient needs., • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently to deliver key results., • Hold a degree as a PMHNP - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the level needed to assess and prescribe medication collaboratively with a psychiatrist as determined by the State Board of Nursing., • Be licensed as a psychiatric APRN with 2 years of outpatient/inpatient experience as a PMHNP-BC., • Current APRN license in good standing., • Excellent clinician with a minimum of 2 years of clinical and administrative experience., • Board certified., • BLS certification.

Job Description Position Description Demonstrate a strong interest in resident education, including devoting sufficient time to the educational program to fulfill their supervisory and teaching responsibilities; administer and maintain an educational environment conducive to educating residents; regularly participate in organized clinical discussions, rounds, journal clubs, didactics, and conferences; and pursue faculty development designed to enhance their skills at least annually. Provide an important bridge allowing residents to grow and become practice-ready, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. Serve as role models for future generations of physicians by demonstrating compassion, commitment to excellence in teaching and patient care, professionalism, and a dedication to lifelong learning. Provide appropriate levels of supervision to promote patient safety. Create an effective learning environment by acting in a professional manner and attending to the well-being of the residents and themselves. Maintain a ratio of residents-to-faculty preceptors in the FMP not to exceed 4:1. If only one resident is seeing patients in the FMP, a single faculty member must devote at least 50 percent time to teaching and supervising that resident. Core faculty members in programs with an approved complement of 13 or more residents should devote at least 60 percent time (at least 24 hours per week, or 1200 hours per year) to the program, exclusive of patient care without residents. Core faculty members should devote the majority of this professional effort to teaching, administration, scholarly activity, and supervising resident patient care within the program. Teach in office procedures including, but not limited to, the following: IUD removal/insertion, Nexplanon removal/insertion, toenail removal, cryotherapy, joint injections, I&D, removal/biopsy of skin lesions). Serve on residency committees which include, but are not limited to, the following: Clinical Competency Committee, Program Evaluation Committee, Recruitment Committee, Didactics Committee, etc. Serve as faculty mentors for residents to guide career development. Responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries in a Family Practice model setting; provides comprehensive, outpatient medical services for individuals and families on a continuing basis. Responsible for Medical Assistant (MA) clinical supervision and continuing verification of the MA’s clinical skills competency. Desired Education or Certifications Criteria Graduate of an accredited medical school and Board Certified in a specific medical specialty or have completed residency and be Board Eligible.
