American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Issaquah, Washington. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Labor and Delivery, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 10/20/2025, • Duration: 16 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit with 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms, • Care for patients with labor, preterm labor, and low risk antepartum diagnoses, • Involved in OB-GYN surgeries, couplet care, and transition nursery care, • Provide care using specialized equipment such as epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vacs, and cooling/warming blankets, • Staffing ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3, • Night shift schedule, working 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, • Floating required to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set, • All deliveries attended, including high risk deliveries, • Epic EMR is used and experience is required, • Responsible for circulating, scrubbing, OB-GYN procedures, post-op, and pre-op care, • Blood and blood products administration, and administration of medications such as heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate are expected duties, • Former permanent staff from Providence facilities (non-Swedish) must have a 3-month separation before being eligible as travelers, • Expected to float between facilities within the state as needed, • A 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility; proof of permanent residence is required, • Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) is permitted, and all requests must be specified at the time of submission, • First-time travelers are not accepted for this role, • Completion of required onboarding modules prior to start is necessary, • Professional attire or scrubs required, per unit standard\n \n Requirements\n, • Active WA or Compact RN license required, • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required, • Certifications in BLS and any other credentials required for Labor & Delivery, • Proven experience with Epic EMR, • Must not be a first-time traveler, • Must provide two supervisory references covering one year in the last three years\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
