Job Description LHTC Program Manager JOB TITLE: LHTC Program Manager POSITION GRADE: 80 [ Salary range: 25hr-30hr commensurate with education and experience] DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM: Living Hope Treatment Center SUPERVISOR: Program Director JOB SUMMARY: The Living Hope Treatment Center (LHTC) Program Manager supports the Program Director in ensuring the day-to-day operations of the program run efficiently and consistently. This role is responsible for overseeing the Clinical Aides and Recreation Specialists, maintaining effective scheduling and staffing coverage, and ensuring operational success of the LHTC to support a safe, stable, and therapeutic environment for clients in care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Program Operations & Oversight • Oversees the daily operations of the Living Hope Treatment Center to ensure consistency, safety, and compliance with all agency and regulatory standards., • Coordinates staff schedules and coverage to maintain adequate supervision and program stability across shifts including updating Float Pool needs weekly., • Ensures implementation and adherence to program procedures, program routines, and safety protocols., • Monitors facility and equipment conditions and reports maintenance or safety concerns promptly., • Manages supply inventory and liaises with facilities to order necessary items., • Partners with the Program Director to identify and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and staff engagement., • Supports the integration of the Sanctuary Model principles throughout daily operations and staff interactions., • Provides day-to-day supervision and support to Clinical Aides and the Recreation Therapist., • Oversees onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training for new and existing Clinical Aides and Recreation Specialists, • Conducts regular check-ins and team meetings to support staff communication, consistency, and professional growth., • Provides coaching and performance feedback to ensure staff understand expectations and uphold program standards., • Serves as the primary point of contact for Clinical Aides and Recreation Specialists regarding scheduling, operational questions, and procedural updates., • Manage team timesheets and time-off requests, ensuring accuracy and timely approval in accordance with agency policy., • Serves as a liaison between the Program Director and frontline staff to ensure alignment between operational needs and program goals., • Supports effective communication between clinical, nursing, and direct support staff to maintain continuity of care., • Maintains the Communication Binder to ensure all staff have the same access to updates and information in a 24/7 facility., • Assists in coordinating activities, appointments, and special events within the program schedule., • Participates in team meetings, case reviews, and other interdisciplinary discussions as needed to support operational planning., • Ensures program documentation, schedules, and reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner., • Monitors adherence to agency policies, state regulations, and Justice Center standards., • Manages compliance with Incident Report and Justice Center Reporting requirements., • Maintains confidentiality of all client and staff information., • Supports corrective action plan documentation and submission for program., • Supports the Program Director in data tracking, audits, and quality assurance efforts. POSITION SPECIFICS: Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered. Experience: • Three years of experience in treating those with substance use disorder preferred, • Prior supervisory or team lead experience required, • Experience with program coordination, scheduling, or operations management preferred Skills: • Strong interpersonal skills with youth, families, staff, and stakeholders, • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, • Exceptional organizational skills, including scheduling and time management, • Ability to provide leadership, supervision, and mentoring to staff., • Creative problem solving and commitment to quality improvement, • Must pass TCI and Harm Reduction Training within first month of employment Travel: • Valid NYS driver’s license required Schedule: • Schedule subject to change based on needs of the facility, • Some weekend days may be required Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
