If your answer is yes, then get ready to get a taste of the fine dining world at Nusr-Et. We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to lead all aspects of our business. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Restaurant supervisor responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in front of the house operations. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity. We expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences. What do we look for? • At least 4 years of prior high-volume, fine dining Restaurant Manager or above restaurant experience, • Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access, • Excellent customer service skills, • Able to lead and mentor a team, • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts, • Professional appearance and demeanor, • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms, • Ability to train and develop team members, • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative, • Analytical skills, • Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software), • Self-motivated individual with excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills, • Ability to work independently and with others, • Ability to work independently by prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines, • Must be flexible and able to work with a variety of people, • Ability to handle stressful situations and to prevent and/or handle emergency situations, • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations, • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction, • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints, • Regularly review product quality, • Organize and supervise shifts, • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity, • Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products, • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it, • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events, • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices, • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations, • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role, • Proven customer service experience as a manager, • Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff, • Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable., • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills, • Daily breakfast and lunch provided, • Health Insurance, Vision Insurance, and Dental Insurance offered, • Nonexempt PTO – 40 hours accrued (based by state), • Sick pay (based by state), • Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
